Always been a Tory voter, but ashamed to admit that after the last 8 years, basically since Brexit. He seems genuine, and looks like he will be an excellent administrator and communicator. Cause for optimism.

Love the way Starmer apologists talk to themselves about how they don't mind he is boring. No one ever criticized him for that: no one cares. It seems to be a manufactured argument designed to distract the fact he's intellectually limited, duplicitous and lacking any kind of human decency.

Country first, Party second is not quite the same as The People First, Country Second, Party Third. Putting the people first would, obviously, mean eradicating poverty, challenging bigotry, investing into the needs of the community over the needs of Wealth Extraction. Many of us are suffering intolerable distress due to the way the economy is staged. That distress is entirely avoidable.

I have never voted Labour (but would have done so in the last election were they in a position to beat the local Tory MP!). But I have to say that I found Kier Starmer to be far more coherent and honest in his responses than ANY Tory in the last 14 years. I reckon KS is destined to be a great Prime Minister. The public need to be made aware of the challenges the government faces and the choices and trade-offs that must be made. I'd rather be told the truth, however, difficult, than gaslit and bullshitted to by politicians who are only concerned with optics and tomorrow's headlines. Honesty, openess and integrity, so long absent from succesive tory governments, will eventually redress the imbalance.
