The best “In Memoriam” I’ve seen for the year 2016!

This month the 16th was my wife s birth day. She left me 10 years ago. But today she seems so close. I passed the cemetery today and all most froze. I still write songs for her. She seems so close yet so far away. Open our eyes We are born. Close in a blink we are gone. Why are we here to hurt so MUCH. My once young face is now wrinkled with age lines. I look in a mirror and see a stranger All most all of my friends are gone. The girls I loved in the wonderfull past are but a memory Never to be forgotten. Thanks for.a great mind to be able to remember all of THEM

The Grim Reaper was on a role in 2016. So many stars. I am from the UK, so not familiar with some of the fallen, but still sad to say the least. I am 61, and grew up with some of whom are featured here. I love this type of tribute and have watched several here on YT. The choice of music always makes me sad combined with the happy pictures of those we have lost. Makes me realise how fragile life is. How long do I have left. Thanks for the memories.

As a 58-year old who watched many of these stars as a youngster, I'm reminded that we all will follow these actors over that threshold, I'm at peace with it.

I miss David Bowie so influential inspiring artist of many other artists opened doors to coloured singers to get recognition of their music ! I was a fan of David Bowie since 1977 when I was just 4 years old ❤️❤️❤️❤️. RIP DB ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m 66 today 16th October and cannot believe how time has gone by. No one is promised a tomorrow. Seeing these guys and ladies who have passed on makes you realise you have to live for today.

2016 was awful, it seemed like we were losing someone that entertained us everyday. It was as if Thanos came, snapped his finger and half of music and entertainment were gone. RIP ALL.

Alan Rickman RIP. Brilliantly villainous as Hans Gruber and The Sheriff Of Nottingham. He was a fantastic actor in a range of roles, and had such a presence he stole every scene he appeared in. From Truly Madly Deeply, Love Actually, Rasputin and Harry Potter he always gave compelling performances and left a lasting impression. The very Best of British 🇬🇧✡️

I am 85. I keep asking myself.why am I still here? MOST of my family and friends are gone. I sang a song LET GO today. I have done so many times many of the people that loved it are gone yet I still get requests every show I do. Music lasts forever.

For some reason 2016 i find that hard a year because my grandmother died as well as these people who have touch our lives in so many ways well known names i still cry when i watch this list as Australians Pete Sumner and Jon English. RIP to them all and others not listed or mentioned.

I love to see people respect and give tributes to the dead. I have a gigantic book that I made back in 2000 and I entitled it In DEAD-ICATION. I record celebs and my people in it when they die and things about them.
