Izmaylovo hotel complex was built for the Olympics 80 having 5000 rooms and still operating. By some statistics it's either 5th or 8th place in the World by the amount of people it can get.

I am assuming that flashlight is there because the hotel does not have any emergency lighting. Which is a really really bad idea and would not be allowed anywhere else.

I don’t know about that. Didn’t pay attention! But anyway the flashlight 🔦 is like with old batteries 🔋 or just weak itself so kinda useless))

soviet hotel rooms are more modern now. the walls are painted white and not the dull green colour. the propaganda machine tv is a small flat screen instead of a crt tube. the shower looks more modern. they no longer have you give your key to the maid before you leave so they can search your bags when you are away… because the maid has her own key now. 😅

Yeah, it was kinda weird! It’s good they check there of the cleaning happened but I realized only after that she just easily opened my door with her card like stay away I’ll check haha. No privacy!

Why build a hotel without air conditioning?! We changed very little for the 84 Olympics and so far have done nothing for the 28 Olympics.

You portrait that hotel so badly: I am from Serbia and I stayed in it in September 2023, in Izmailovo Gamma, and it is just fine!!! I think overnight stay was just 27EUR, certainly less than 30EUR. I got a good room, everything worked there and I liked it. I recommend that hotel. 👍❤ It's next to the BEAUTIFUL Izmailovo Kremlin and the Partizanskaya metro station, that is 20 minutes away from the Red Square. ❤ When I travel to Moscow next time, I will AGAIN go to the hotel Izmailovo.

NFKRZ (Roman) is the most irritating Russian liberal: his specialty is making fun of so called commie blocks (despite he claims for himself being a leftist). 🤢🤮 And also Sanctioned Ivan: his specialty is making fun of Chinese-made cars. 🙄 BTW, Izmailovo Gamma hotel had 8.4 rating on Booking, which is pretty good! 😉 If I remember correctly, the spa & bowling area are available to guests free of charge. 🙂 I also stayed in the hotel Azimut Olympic in Moscow in 2021, it is a little bit better, that one had 8.9 rating on Booking, but is significantly more expensive, so I consider Izmailovo Gamma a better value-for-money deal. 🙂 Also, there is Izmailovo Delta, next to it, it's a 4 star hotel, if you like beautiful decorations and interiors -> I do not care about it. That one costs something like 35EUR per night (or so).

Doping in sports and olympics was normal... during training during game, competition... Funny was these women from Russia and East Germany completely doped up, with 6 packs and beard/moustache growth and formidable square jawlines... East Germany had the most medals evrytime compared to the size of its population compared to other countries.. And east Germany was small country who won the most medals during olympics.. Funny.... and weird at the same time.. lol... After 1984 the most doped up game ever with Ben Johnson for example... was funny against Carl Lewis.. After 1984 the olympics cleaned up their games.. Only during training till Olympics sporters may use doping not during.. then they had to be clean... during the game... as new rules. Which didnt work/help for them in the results... So by now 2024... its clean games... Even Elvis who sang 2 hours 2 times a day.. needed uppers..and after wards downers to get nites rest Got insomnia and his body went into chaos and died in 1977.. Even Cassius Clay era and Boxing 1960 till 1980s was doped up.. After Mike Tyson stepped in the ring... Boxing also became a sober normal sport... Boycot 1980 was also child play about cold war and Russia invading Afghanistan... Warschaupact and Russia were the biggest cheaters during that time/era... LOL. But in ww1 and 2 also creatin supersoldiers they used to cheat via doping. Looks horrendous to me on amphetamine, cocaine dying from serious war wounds.. In muddy field...
