I just got out of an AA meeting. I’m 9-months sober and a heroin addict. Was feeling very down in the dumps about very trivial things in my life, when I forgot that a year ago, I was on the verge of death every day. I was reminded of this at the meeting and was immediately met with a tremendous amount of gratitude for my life and the beautiful people in it. Stumbled upon this very lovely cover shortly afterwards and it only amplified that feeling of peace, calm, and serenity. Thank you for this. Bless you. ❤️

This is the best cover I've ever heard of my favorite song of all time. And that's coming from someone who once sang in a Neutral Milk Hotel cover band. While younger versions of me surely prefer the NMH original, now that I'm 45 years of age I think I may appreciate your version even more than the original. The original is so full of passion and emotion, yet yours is full of something one can't fake or conjure through emotion: the wisdom of a lifetime of experiences. Thank you so much for sharing this, it was revealed to me at the perfect time and I'm so very grateful.

While I love the eccentric wild energy of the original, tuning it down a bit does the song a lot of justice. It's the aesthetic difference between experiencing something exciting in your life, and fondly looking at a picture of it twenty years later. I absolutely love finding channels like yours.
