I had to remind myself several times while watching this that this wasn't the first episode in an awesome new sci-fi series. I would definitely watch every episode if it were. Very well done.

that was truly beautiful, amazing what a relatively small group of amazingly talented people can do - even with far from a studio level budget regardless of the length of it. well done guys and i hope to see lots more amazing work from you :)

excellent story, Very compelling, became attached to characters in fighters very quickly, the others not so much, Effects are very good, as for physics, to those that didnt listen she did not know how long she was out, so O2 could always be in question. basically quit over thinking and just enjoy the show...BRAVO WSC BRAVO!!

Amazing... especially the sort of twist of mark dying while it looked like she had almost suffocated earlier. Really didn't see it coming. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more from you guys!

This is great, well done, and liked, but when I see a new upload by Wayside, I'm always hoping to see Twig meeting Sierra Petrovita (and her Nuka collection). I know it's not happening, but I'd love seeing it.

Superb, really liked it. However just a few things annoyed me; Why is the Capital Ship going for 2 fighters? Also, just going a little overboard on lens flares when they weren't needed. But really good job, you guys are really good at what you're doing.

We shot it in a garage, 2 car garage, and at a studio in L.A. The studio for the shots in the big vessel. It took lots of creativity and generosity from all involved to do this with the very small budget.

SPOILER! Just wanted to question a few things. First, why is the main ship going to rescue rather than a designated rescue ship. Second, why can't they FTL travel far enough way and then come back? Wasteful, sure. But they would get there in a second. END SPOILERS! Besides that... My heart-strings were slightly pulled. Not bad.

FTL may get you somewhere really fast, but you would still need to double back at normal speed, so in the end it wouldn't do much, but waste a lot of power, unnecessarily that is as far as i know, at least as for the rescue ship, my guess is that there isn't one the only functioning ship there is the one we see, and i would assume that they don't have any smaller starcrafts on board again, strictly my opinion, not facts

Aviv Okon So you can't FTL back? Go as far as you need to go, plus a little farther. Then come back just the necessary amount back. And it seems to be a little illogical to have a few vehicles to get individual people. Rather than potentially risking the entire ship to pick up survivors.

MrGrombie well, to your first question, trying to go one way, then turn around and go back would take quite a lot of time, a lot of power, and if they get too close or have a slight miscalculation, they can either miss the small spacecraft, or even hit them or propel them dipper into orbit, so that would just be a really bad decision i would agree on the second matter, but when you have the power and your wife is out there, you wouldn't send someone else to get her, right?? i mean, she is the captain's wife, so he might not consider the risk at that point

It's space you are not limited by an atmosphere to cause extreme force while spinning. So spinning it around shouldn't be to much of an issue I would think. Maybe the people inside, but you can still spin pretty fast. And if we were to assume anything, if we get the point where we master FTL, how could we not be able to lock in exactly where we want to go? They didn't seem to distress that in the film, when they went on about the subject.

again, you have some good points i guess all that we have left are speculations, nothing more let's just take what we get and enjoy the video now, because i doubt we'll get any better answers
