In 1975 in La Grange Texas was the very same way when we arrived there, but changed very quickly while we were there for a year and half. The Political culture was in full change. signs with no blacks allowed. and that was coming to and end. They had a Sherif Jim who pretty much ran the town with two deputies. Old school throw backs to the days of Judge Roy bean types. It all came crashing down. We were very glade to be getting out of there. I was working on coal power plant project. Being from the north east, I found it to be a scary place then. I love this movie, especially the part, what do they call you, They call me Mr. Tibbs. I love it. and of course the spin off the moive. They Call Me MR. Tibbs, I never seen that movie.

If you hear him hoot, scoot, If you pass his tree, flee, If you catch his eye, fly, Don't wait to say goodbye. He's got a yen for a purty little hen, Foul owl on the prowl. He's hungry for a chick, so get home quick, Foul owl on the prowl. If you hear him hoot, scoot, If you pass his tree, flee, If you catch his eye, fly, Don't wait to say goodbye.
