I’ve said this before but will say it again, you really need to add svg files for those with cutting machines so you don’t have to use the die line files and have to cut out fabric by hand. It’s much easier than die line files. Hopefully you will consider some day. Thanks for sharing your time and inspiration. 😊

I have a Brother Scan n Cut and I found a work around that is pretty quick and easy. I stitched out the die-lines onto stabilizer in black thread. Scanned these into my machine and saved to the machine. Then loaded red felt onto a cutting mat and using the saved die-line files, I cut the shapes from the felt. I used the rotary cutter and the felt cut perfectly. Then stitched out the design as instructed. Worked like a charm. And yes, I agree that cut files should be included.

I have made many of your ornaments over the years, they are always a big hit for the holidays. I think I might make a bunch for the office this year. They always make such a fuss over my "handmade" goodies :) Thank you for this great tutorial, it really helped. I now have many new ideas!

I bought the gingerbread star ornament (E3003 and there are no instructions. There is a thread sheet but nothing else like it says in this tutorial. I'm confused and have sent an email to Embroidery Library but the only answer they gave was to follow the thread sheet. It sure feels like I am missing something.

Hi there! We took a look at this design. From what we can tell it can either be stitched onto fabric like a standard machine embroidery design, or you can stitch it onto water-soluble stabilizer with no fabric. Love these...especially the gingerbread ornaments with the place to embroider a name! Will the instructions that come with the design pattern tell me how to machine embroider the name on the rectangular space? Also what kind of adhesive spray do you use? Thanks for the videos! They're awesome!
