The ballet was created by William Forsythe for Sylvie Guillem et Laurent Hillaire, but the two dancers here are Elena Vostrotina, Raphael Coumes-Marquet

@@michellezeitlinmorezap6964 Vostropina is an excellent ballerina but does not have the grace, elegance and lightness of Sylvie. Sylvie Guillem and Laurent Hillaire's performance of this particular ballet was absolutely stunning.

Incredible talented dancers and choreography; A Pas de Deux withou romantic connotation. Pure movement , geometry and lust for physical expression. LOVE LOVE IT !!!!

Gorgeous! It's brilliant choreography, flawless technique and powerful dancing fill the stage in this duet. Thanks for posting. Had not seen this pair in these roles.

It's tough, finding a partner who you enjoy working with but who also has the flexibility and strength to make these movements really fun to do. This afternoon I'm learning this with a friend, I think it will be ok, time will tell! These 2 seem to be having fun, even smiling a little! Not used to seeing a lot of smiling in this piece ^^;

This ballerina looks like very much Sylvie Guillem, even her knees are the same.

She's shorter and a lot curvier than Sylvie, and her partner is much taller than Laurent.

definitely. But to be fair among the ones who danced it after her I got to say that this one is really top notch

I’ve seen about 10 different casts for this final duet, every version is so so different. This is by far the sexiest take, not put on, but deep and seemingly inadvertent, like welling up from inside.
