I was a part of this Inaugural walk and I remember how excited I was and so curious about what the journey ahead would show me. It is 3 years later and I still treasure my time on Brigid's Way. The journey changed my life and set me on a very different path for me. One filled with healing and growth and coming into acceptance and love for myself. I am more open hearted, more generous and living life instead of merely walking through my days thanks to Karen, Dolores, the amazing people I walked and connected to and of course, Brigid Herself. No video can truly capture the experience of being on pilgrimage and the journey into and toward connection - to self, to Spirit (whatever name you choose to call the Divine) and to Ireland herself.

I've only just discovered this. Oh. My. Heart. Thank you for taking me along via this video. I'm sobbing as I watch this. I'm coming to Ireland April 2018 and will now plan to make at least some of this pilgrimage myself. What a thrill it would be to meet any of you who were on this first pilgrimage.

Interesting how goddess Tuatha Brigid can attract the hippy trippy new age people, and the later adapted St Brigid attracts people of catholic beliefs. I hope true goddess Brigid she may attract people in the middle way, even scientists/ mystics like me.. And men.
