Historicising the mythology is the crux of the problem. She is a goddess. Bridghet ban dia, bright ban filli, bith beo. Bridget lady divine, Bridget lady poet, life living.

Well here we are NINE years after this video was posted and it's there on the frequency right now. No, it's not FT-8, doesn't sound anything close to fFT-8, nor does it look like it, but here we are in July 2024 and it's on the air right now. Is there an online group where savvy hams/swlers discuss such unid sigs? It could be someone simply recording and then rebroadcasting commercial / embassy sigs inside a ham band? Given a wide enough audience of technically savvy folks (and maybe a few hobbyists with commercial connections) we'll get a realistic answer. be

I've never found a direct source, regarding the story of the tuatha leaving after seeing the great slaughter of the Athenians at the hand's of the Assyrian empire. Only paraphrased, but it's a threat I just can't stop pulling. There must be some way to find that source. I'm not an academic, I am kind of obsessed with the topic, probably being autistic. Any directions would be greatly appreciated!

This all sounds very familiar. A powerful woman with magic arriving on an island to look for the leading man, as it where, to start a dynasty. Like Medea and countless ancient Greek myths. Which would start you down the rabbit hole of the tuatha de Danamn having actually been a real people fleeing Athens. Coming to Ireland via Norway. This Medea type Goddess has come to find them, perhaps old relations? I'm reaching, big time lol ∆

On the 31st of December 1979 my friend Paddy and I left the venue in Strandhill we walked up through the woods and sat on top of Queen Maeve's grave. We waited till January 1st and walked down to my Family home in Ballydoogan.

I do find it incredibly inappropriate that Romano British icons such as Julius Caesar and Jesus are regarded as historical yet people who lived after them like the high kings of Ireland are considered mythical in Anglo-Centric sources
