Let's talk about high paying healthcare careers no one really talks about. Most people are only familiar with clinical jobs, like doctors and nursing. These healthcare administration jobs are high income careers that can earn you 6 figures WITHOUT AN M.D - Which one sounds most interesting to you?

So many people are pushed into become doctors because people think it Is one of the best medical careers and it is a High Paying Healthcare Careers. BUT, you should never become a doctor for the money it is alot of work and very stressful. Healthcare administration jobs and healthcare management jobs are great med school alternatives as they are high income careers that can allow you to have a positive impact.
Here are TWO 6 Figure Healthcare Careers NO ONE Talks About:
1) Healthcare Consulting.This is part of healthcare's fast growing careers. You start earning 6 figures by your early to mid 20s, you get paid to travel, solve problems, and have a true impact in healthcare. Most people get hired straight out of underground, which is why this is one of the best healthcare jobs with a bachelor's degree. In my biased opinion healthcare consulting is among the best medical careers and med school alternatives.
You NEED to be passionate about the healthcare industry and have basic consulting skills, which include critical thinking, data analytics, presentation skills, and solid communication. These are soft skills which can be transferred over from any job, so you don't need prior consultant experience although that is a plus.
2) Medical Sales Reps: This is another high income career, however it is more competitive. It is a sales job, which means you get a base salary + commission. You will work closely with key decision makers and you need to be a skilled salesperson. Most companies require 1 year of sales experience, which makes it harder to get this job straight out of undergrad. However if you get sales jobs and internships while you're still in school and show a desire to learn about healthcare products you can be a very good candidate.
If you want to be in a High Paying Healthcare Careers that doesn't require an MD, have people person, sales, and quick thinking skills, then Medical Sales are healthcare jobs with a bachelor's degree that may be for for you.

I totally agree to this, so many are too dependent on their paychecks they fear they can't live without it. Meanwhile others are earning passively from either the financial markets ,selling things online or trying to create their own YT channels, It's not very lucrative to base all your incomes from salary alone that's a major stepping stone to failure

I hoped you would talk about laboratory work in the hospital. It's a very important job that people often forget! The lab is directly above the doctor's head. Doctors make decisions based on the patient, yes, but they also base them a lot on the results the lab sends them. No, the job isn't just about pushing buttons on a machine. There are so many things to do in the lab, it is very interesting and it doesn't require years and years of school. To anybody that reads this, I highly recommend you to do research about this 😊
@wambosunshine5600

Is that what you do ? I went for part of my clinicals in a lab in the hospital and I found it to be an extremely busy environment. Plus the workers who had an associate said that the hospital is pushing them to do a bachelors ( which will cost the student a lot of money ) and the difference in pay will not be significant. Like you said , people who may be interested need to do a lot of research. Additionally , I some of lab staff were transitioning to nursing …. I don’t know why

@@wambosunshine5600 Hi, yes that's what I do. I graduated this year. I'm in Quebec, Canada and I never heard of colleages being pushed to go back to school. The education program we have is well enough for what the job requires. The only university programs we could do is to specialise in cytogenetics and things like that. It's not necessary at all since there is only one person doing this job per hospital and they often stay there their whole carreer. So basically, you're taking the risk to go to university for nothing. I don't know where you live and I don't know how the education system works there 😅 In Quebec, it's a 3 years program in college (and it is intense! Most people do it in 4 years) Also, personnaly, I heard maybe of one person going to nursing. I think it's not very common here 🤷‍♀️ And yes, it is a very busy place, but it's worse since we are understaffed all the time. At my college, we were only 12 students graduating this year. We lack students to begin with 😅 And since the job is hard (and we are understaffed almost everyday), some of my colleages leave to go work somewhere else, like private companies...

I would recommend it to anyone who's not sure what they want to do.. he didn't make that starting out but with an associates he started out making out way more than most bachleors degrees. It's great for people who are undecided cuz you will be making money quickly and be able to afford pursing another degree or money to fund your passion.. if I didn't already have my associates in computer science I would have went that route to help fund my bachelors and other things.

I've actually learned in my B.S. in Healthcare Management that physicians, especially specialists, pocket the same salary as a teacher. Not only because of the debt that is built but also the cost of continually educating yourself to practice and forking out large sums for malpractice insurance.

I am a certified athletic trainer with my bachelor's degree and it is really hard to not only find a position during these hard times, but the salary is very low is general. I struggled with the concept of working over 40 hours a week and the average salary is only 45k. I dont want to continue working 50+ hours a week and making a salary of less than 40k a year. Anyways, I was wondering if you can you do a video of more positions you can obtain with a masters in health administration, what kind of internships would be best to apply to, and starting wages from fresh out of school to wages with years of experience. That would be awesome! Love your videos. It is making me very excited to start this new journey.
