In the following video STEM and Science Education Consultant Diana Wehrell-Grabowski, PhD provides snippets of early childhood educators being introduced to incorporating loose parts in the early childhood classroom to promote science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) content. During the teacher training teachers were introduced to the theory of loose parts, they explored a wide-array of loose parts materials and centers that can be incorporated within the early childhood classroom + to promote STEAM content, as well as develop and strengthen 21st century learning skills in young children. Teachers rotated through 7 centers exploring with loose parts, additionally teachers were introduced to incorporating loose parts on the playground.
