This is such a beautiful card with an adorable Santa! So love your coloring. I just found you a few weeks ago and am learning more techniques for coloring. I too, live in the lake effect area here in Michigan about 45 minutes east of Muskegon. Love hearing the dogs. Don’t fret too much about them. It’s not loud enough anyway on the video. I have two schnauzers and they also bark at the most inopportune time! 🤣. TFS!!

Love the card, super loved the tree dies! I was raised in Chicago and now live in the suburbs, so I know about lake effect snow ❄️ If possible, I would hibernate all winter long.

Michigan here we get lake effect snow also, I used to live in west Michigan by Ludington lake effect snow is no joke. Thankfully I moved back down to metro Detroit area not as bad.

Great card! Like the snow effect on the trees. Very cute gnome! I can’t believe Christmas is in less than a month, and snow…not going to make me too happy. We have 3 dogs, all related. More recently they have started to howl together for no particular reason. People walking by are like ready to cross to the other side of the street. It’s comical for about a minute and then it’s not.

Absolutely adorable and I think it's funny that you did this video and said you can use a moon for non-halloween cards. I have been on a kick this holiday season using moons on my Christmas cards. Different layering stencil from another company though. I will definitely need to try this blue combo you did though. I have been sticking with grays, but this combo you did was beautiful. ❤

I found the same thing with the Ranger snowfall paste not looking like sparkly snow so I added a bit of white paint spray and glitter to add to die cuts. Your card is amazing, I love so many aspects of it!

Lovely card. You CAN die cut eclipse masking paper, just put it on another sheet of paper. I’ve done that kind of thing using proper cardstock and just printer paper. Then peel it off, use the mask, and - if you used cardstock - you have an extra die cut.

I love this card! In most instances I can tell if a creator used markers other than Copic’s. The shading isn’t the same and the other markers look muddied to me. Having lived in Buffalo am fully aware of lake effect snow lol. Thankfully I didn’t live in the South Towns which was the snow belt areas. One year the snow was so bad that most people couldn’t get into the hospital. The Director of Radiology’s husband went around on his snowmobile picking up Dr.’s so they could make it in. After that particular incident the powers that be realized how many employees lived in the snow belt lol

Awesome card! Loved all the techniques. Do you have trouble with your copics drying out? I’ve had a several with cracked lids. Just not sure how to prevent it besides twisting the cap and keeping them clean.
