I always tell young guys this: me: "you like girls?" them: "yes of course!" me: "learn to play guitar AND sing" (and lift, and land a good career, pick good friends - no friends are better than bad friends).

I can confirm. The guitar and singing is even more important if you find yourself single again in your 40’s. If you do both well, the knickers come off within 5 minutes of you putting the guitar down

Tedfredlele, it's never too late, I'm little older, I would work out in my teens and early 20's, then quit for parties, girls etc, a little partying is OKAY 👍, however never let it impede your goal's, keep marching forward ⏩

There's the reverse side of the coin - when people are younger, they tend to have idealistic ideas of what friends and lovers are supposed to be; ideals that no one could ever live up to. And even though they realize the world isn't black and white as they get older, they never drop these black and white perceptions of others. The happiest day of my life - was when I put everything to do with my happiness on my own shoulders, and quit expecting anything from friends and lovers. It is now impossible for a friend or lover to let me down. I would never rely on another human, in the first place. Happiness comes from 'structuring your life around what is', vs 'structuring your life around what you feel it should be'. A lot of those people you deem 'sh*tty' - is stemming from the lingering frustrations of youth; when you expected everyone to come running to 'prove themselves' worthy of your presence. Just some food for thought.

I’ve watched a few of these videos, I’m 60, my son is 26, interested to see what young blokes go through now I’ve changed my mind about this bloke, RIch, great advice, only thing I wouldn’t necessarily call someone who has made a lot of money successful, he’s made a lot of money sure, there’s a lot more to life to be successful

Forget the women, expensive cars/trucks and expensive travel and focus on appreciating assets like real estate and investments. It is going to get grim out there for people who don't own their own homes especially in places like Canada where the housing shortage is insane. You don't want to be renting when you are older because your income will most likely be fixed and you can end up on the streets if your rent gets raised.

@marcadler, very important message, The Economy of both Canada and my own Australia cannot keep and keep growing, the Economic Cycle does not work that way, the balloon 🎈 eventually pops, I know people in both our Countries dislike hearing this reality, so prudent people have already tucked away reserve's.

I get what he says about loneliness. I play Field Hockey and Cricket (yes men's Field Hockey is popular in Europe before anyone says its a girls sport...) and I go to the gym usually 4-5 times per week. However the Field Hockey season breaks for Christmas and there is always a gap between hockey and cricket seasons, that last 3 to 4 weeks at a time. This is where the loneliness hits as there is no sport to play, and nothing to look forward to on my weekends. I also hate watching sports for the most part as well unless it is the final of a tournament or England are playing, and I often only watch it with other people for the sake of socialising, not watching. I will never quit sports though, I just really need to find something else to do in my off time. Time to build that side hustle I always wanted to do...

I tell men , if you want to keep one, stop using the excuse that she is just a friend. I tell men, if you want to keep one, stop using the excuse that she is just a coworker. If you want to keep one, stop connecting to an old high school friend you slept with ( she was my first lay, and now she is married so its ok to just talk remember whens . Ya know the one who got away. How about if you want to keep one, maybe focus in on micro details. Like if the corner if her eyes are tighter it means she is stressed out. If you can notice orher macro body parts , why are they not seeing those . To hard for strong men to see that ? How does that fit with a job? While one dude sees you as ANGRY, THE OTHER ONE SEES IT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SOLVE ISSUES . And the dumb ones take the easy route . Oh she is angry. Notice how they weak men shift blame. And the issue at hand goes UNRESOLVED. In which btw, if unresolved ? It will be in the way. Strong men dont shift the blame . They resolve it. And NOT BY IGNORING IT. Ignore means ....walk aways. In which the answer is clear. Im not dealing with your emotions. In or out of bed ! See...the cut off. If you dont connect to her emotional needs outside of bed. Why would she want it from you in bed . That means you shut off her needs. And yet you say....animalistic traits are ok in bed. Sick isnt it. And it goes further. Becauze if she is starved like that for lets say 12 years...and it doesnt change when its brought up. And the dude is SHOCKED ...when she leaves ? Its gross. And the kicker ? She left me for another man!

Rich used to play Skyrim? 😄 I can understand playing video games 1-2 hours at a time, twice a week. More than that is dumb. Go out. Go see a movie (if you can find one worth seeing.) Go to a bookstore. Build something - learn carpentry, repairing and maintaining motors/engines, coding, whatever. Do some gardening - highly rewarding unless you go overboard. Surf. Go hiking if you're close to forests or mountains. Go fishing - also very rewarding. Get exercise - either go to a gym, study martial arts or just do some running and calisthenics (pushups, pullups, burpies, situps.) It ain't that hard. Get off your azz.

@@anthonyharmon9265 Nope. Dodged the marriage bullet several times. Feel very lucky to have done so. And everything I said is correct - go out, do stuff. Live. Life is filled with disappointment, frustration and great loss. You don't completely shake all that off, unless you're callous by nature. But there is no point in crumbling under the weight of it all.
