Incredible 60's Time Capsule ABANDONED And Untouched For 30 Years!!
On this tour we explore an untouched amazing 60/70's time capsule entirely full and not one item has a date Past 1977!! Except one calendar that says 1991 which is when this amazing time capsule went abandoned!! It was an elderly lady living there until she unfortunately passed away, why the house has remained sitting there is a mystery!!
********If you have an abandoned location you would like to share with me or want to see me explore in a video for you please email me at bstickland17@hotmail.com and I will give you a shout out for the share in the video and description if you would like that of course!********

In America it would be cut off regardless of whether or not there was a disabled elderly person living there or not but in Europe and in Canada where this is located it's different. I've seen houses on the verge of collapse that spring out of darkness at the flip of a switch. The bigger issue is that it can be a risk for fire if the wiring has been compromised in any way due to erosion or animal activity etc.

In America, they cannot shut the power off if an elderly or handicapped person resides in the resistance, or an oxygen dependant person. however they only follow that rule when it's the winter time. Cause they can't have anyone freezing to death. (Wouldn't look good in the news ,I guess,🤔) ....,Spring, summer,fall ...you're on your own. Better buy sum candles is what they say

If ever someone needed a tangible reminder of how fleeting and short life is, watch a video like this. One day there was someone living there - the next they were gone and were never to return. All the things we collect for various reasons... all the possessions people fight over and deem of value... sitting forgotten. People need to stop being so petty and trivial in life. Because in the end, none of it matters. Only living life matters.
@oliverrojas3185

Who knows why they had so many possessions. It looks like the person living there was well off. It may be that she outlived her family and immediate relatives. Who knows why no one in the local area did not attend to addressing a need to empty the house. I don't think it was deliberately left as a time capsule.

Great tour ! Amazing thing about that velvet furniture: my Grandma died in 1969 in Winnipeg and had the exact same couch and chair in maroon, and also the blue chair in the corner. I remember playing on them too rough and getting a scolding when about 1957 so they had to have been old then... '40s ? I actually saw a few items of vintage 'smalls' that are considered high dollar and quite uncommon to rare. I hope when the time comes a proper clean out and sale happens so these things of value are held for the future, not just razed or dumped in a landfill. My guess the water filled sunken ground in back yard may well be an old septic tank which has fallen into ruin, so be careful when exploring because ground may just open and swallow a guy up ......

@itsmewildbill2296
@itsmewildbill2296 4 ай бұрын
Actually, I think it's a ceiling ventilation fan on a timer. A friend had one in her bathroom when I was younger - after a steamy shower, you set the timer so you can leave and it doesn't run all day or night. I always thought it was a great idea, they don't make 'em anymore. Also, Nutone is a big name in bathroom ceiling fans, so that's another reason I'm pretty sure it is. I've seen those heat lamps on a timer, but I'd bet this is a timed fan. Not being a smart-@$$, just sayin'!

@@Poppagee69 There may still be some explorers that clean and stage a room. I haven’t seen any do that for quite some time. Part of the reason is because a lot viewers think it’s disrespectful, while not knowing or understanding some places have been rummaged. Wow, you weren't kidding in your description! A true time capsule back to the 60s indeed! But please! Never let this location be disclosed to anyone - not even the state that it's in. Wouldn't want other people to just break in, take whatever they want, then just leave a trail of mess and graffiti right behind them. A place of nostalgia like this absolutely needs to be preserved for as long as possible!

It’s crazy you can still hear the smoke alarm chirping. I think it’s an exercise in bravery as much as the interest in the history. Thanks for sharing this story

Fascinating to see a house that's a sixties time capsule. Glad you respected the place and didn't rush through it. So sad the elderly lady's relatives, if any,didn't want it. 😿 Would be interesting to know the backstory of whoever lived there.

i maybe in a similar situation to your comment. my nan gave me (grandson) 1st son, 2nd son the will and the house. the 2 sons who are my uncles are aged 70 something and getting old and have health problems. the 1st son was looking after my nan so he lived with her and lives in the house and he has health problems and cant do much and has told me there is so damn much stuff that needs to be thrown away or given to people and many skips which are expensive for how many we need and im aged 38 so im the youngest and the 2nd son he lives in Shrewsbury so hes far away and has a mrs and problems and cant do much so when my uncle passes who is living in the house. it will then be passed on to my uncle which i doubt he will have as he owns and has his own place so i still live near my nans and i believe it will be passed on to me my uncle has said. im still young and can get things done and hes dont passed away yet thank god but at the moment i dont have problems but maybe when im 40 or 50 something idk but the older i get im also gonna struggle throwing the stuff out if i live there. im a single man and no mrs or kids so i wont have a will and when both uncles pass, im the only one with the house and have no one to give to. its tragic watching this video now i realized what could of happened.

That was an absolutely amazing tour, and I admire your attention to detail and respect for the items and property. There is a FORTUNE in collectibles in every room. I hope someone saves all of that stuff before it ends up in the land fill. Definitely a woman's house. Thanks for taking us along.

Hey Brandon, first time and new subscriber here. Awesome, AWEsome video!! I Love the way you walk through the place and appreciate everything as though you’re walking through a museum (which you actually are in a sense). just wanted to mention that back in the kitchen, right under the oven door sticking out a little bit was a handle with a button in the middle of it. If you push that down and pull out on the handle you pull out the two or four stovetop burners. We had one just like that in a 1960s-era apartment that I partly grew up in back in the 70s to early 80s down here in Minnesota. The expiration dates on things in that fridge would have been most telling. Love the character and quality of old Canadian homes👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Keep up the excellent work, young man😄!

I adore you! I'm so glad I found this video that you so graciously and empathetically captured while also being able to recognize all of the awesome vintage items and details of the house. One thing that made me chuckle is that you called the huge long doorbell chimes by the front door coat closet "a big clock". Those things are worthy of a church organ with how massive they are, I bet they played a very loud and complicated tune anytime someone stopped by! I had more compliments to give but right this second a huge pileup of fire trucks are gathering outside my apartment here in Minneapolis and they were already here once putting a fire out 2 houses down so I gotta go see what's happening because now I hear a helicopter! Thank you for this video and your natural charm!

Thank you for a nice longer vid. It was a nice change from so many other channels running through everything within a matter of min. You took your time and allowed us viewers to see a more in depth, non rushed tour of an older home. Looking at those pics, I believe the people standing there next to house is the actual house you're in. Again, thank you for a nice thorough look into our past. 👍👍👍
