How many billions of dollars worth of superyachts do you think are moored/anchored in Monaco? Two, three billion perhaps? Here we take a look at the yachts that came for the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. This was shot in the (very) early hours before qualifying on the Saturday.

Apart from the detailed reporting, which is excellent. Apart from the first class presentation, which is phenomenal. Apart from the subject matter, which is amazingly interesting. The one thing that stands out more than anything else is your enthusiasm for the story. I don't know of any other reporter that has that and you have it in spades!! Stay Safe & Keep Reporting!! ☘

Outstanding coverage. Very brilliant of you to cross the border and film where it was safe and you would not violate any rules. 😉 Ahpo was in Miami for about 3 weeks before traveling over to Monaco. All I saw off of the port cam in Miami was the port side, but you showed the stern view and I am more amazed with this vessel than ever. Many thanks! 🍷

Beautiful photography/videoing. Definitely a lot of $$$$$$ there anchored in the water. Beautiful area. What concern's me is if out on anchor how clean is it actually in the water. Is it safe to swim? What's going in the water from the yachts ect. If it was my boat and that's a BIG IF. Sure I'd be there for Monaco race ect, but not there for a holiday as to many boats. I'd like some where more secluded. Looking forward to next video

Given the fact that the boats are so thick, that it is clearly a problem for anyone to even FIND theirs, let alone get to it from the marina, I'd have to say that the total cost of just those on the roads, is probably more like four or five billion. I apologize for watching this as I jumped in without noticing it was a Patreon Exclusive video. I simply jumped over when I was notified you uploaded it. It was a very enjoyable video. The Renaissance can be chartered for 3.5M € per week, and can sleep 36. I have not done the math but am guessing that if 36 people split the cost, it would be 100,000€ per person. I don’t have 36 friends that I trust well enough to share responsibility for such a vessel. I would, instead, purchase a used Beneteau with my portion and wander over to Marseilles or somewhere near for a little fun in the sun. Or an O’Day as they seem to have quite a lot more interior room. I have not sailed either, only a Catalina so even this conversation is over my head. Thanks!

Yeah I'm kind of surprised, you would think that these big fabulous boats you would see some parties and the crew ferrying some guests from land on board or guests from other boats. I always remember my days boating and several of our small 30 to 45's boats with tie up together. Everyone would put together some platter and offer food and drinks to all tied up along side I fully understand the larger vessels cannot do that but they all have support vessels to fairy back and forth. Still you never see any parties or festivities. It confirms my belief that rich people are cheap.

Speaking of great views; have you been up at the Tete de Chien in La Turbie? That is the rock outcrop you see above Monaco to the west. A great viewing platform above Monaco. Highly recommend.

Yes, they're all stabilized. Most have multiple different ways the yachts are stabilized.

Early morning looks like a fine time to enjoy Monaco. What is the name of the five masted Sailing Yacht a minutes 1:34, 1:42, 1:51, 2:30 (best view), and 6:53? Jeff Bezos SY KORU has only three masts! Jeff, get with it!

I just went on MarineTraffic to try and find that out (along with the identity of the large blue-hulled motor yacht close by). Unfortunately, it seems like the flotilla has broken up since this footage was taken, and there are few yachts remaining at anchorage there.

Blue hull motor yacht is Symphony. (never has AIS showing on Marine Traffic.

@@eSysmanSuperYachts Thank you! Windstar's website says that their 342-guest flagship, Wind Surf, is the world’s largest sailing ship. So the name of the ship is "WIND SURF".
