In this video I show you the complete process of making the ultimate realistic scene: an incredible forest waterfall diorama.
The main features of the diorama are the waterfall made from scenic fibres, mossy rocks, a resin river and wire trees.
The whole scene is designed to give the appearance of being an ancient landscape, untouched by pollution.
The moss is Woodland Scenics Fine Turf Green Blend. It's perfect for the job.
The scenic fibres are by Deluxe Materials. They are tricky to use, but with a little perseverance you'll end up with an awesome-looking waterfall.
Thanks for watching!
Many of the materials and tools I use come with safety instructions. Please always read and follow these rather than simply copy what you see me or other people doing.

I'm always amazed that half way through the video, it's still looking dubious. And then, like magic, the scene miraculously takes shape. I love your concept of an unpolluted natural environment, right down to the mossy rocks. My first project includes a river running through cliffs so am anxious to use your techniques. It would've been good to see more of the whitewater creation and longer end reveal. Thank you for providing these great tips and secret ideas. Love the trees. So lifelike.

I absolutely love your models!! I’ve begun watching a ton of these recently and I’ve found that your models are by far my favorite. They have some sort of extra feeling to them, I can’t quite describe it. I’ve watched other models such as Luke Towan’s, and they’re great, but they seem a little... sterile? I guess?? I love that you speed up your videos to only show the necessary bits and your end results are always stunning. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

you should've sealed the fibers with some type of gloss i didn't like the look i see what you where going for but it didn't turn out that great you could really tell what you used the fibers where really visible and you went a little heavy on the moss on the trees and rocks a smaller amount would've gave a more realistic look

C'mon, model folk, also generally referred to as "makers" - show some originality and imagination. When are you dum-dum diorama folk gonna start with the "alien landscapes"? Do I have to think of everything? Don't reply if you have zero imagination. "What a great idea, I'll be the first in YT and I'll get rich and famous...".
