As great as the classic TV show the Incredible Hulk was it still had old school goofs and bloopers. In this video we take a look at goofs from the classic television series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. The Incredible Hulk TV Show had to rely on practical effects back in the late 70's and early 80's which have their pros and cons. When things go right a practical effect comes across as more realistic to the eye, but when things go wrong it could put a slight hitch in your viewing experience or maybe just make for a bit of fun that you were able to spot the goof or a blooper.
Some of the mistakes on this video are really hard to spot, but once you see them you can never unseen them. Some of these bloopers you may have missed despite having watching these same episodes dozens of times.

The Incredible Hulk TV show was freaking awesome for me as a kid. I remember getting scared when he transformed because I was like 3 to 4 years old when the show came out.

I remember the first time I watched the pilot movie as a kid back in 2003, and what scared me was the shot of the Hulk reaching out to the young girl by the lake after she hit him with her fishing rod.

Kenneth Johnson said one of the reasons they wanted to film some exteriors in New York was to see if, being New Yorkers, anyone actually noticed the Hulk. 🤣 And about that scene from Married where you see the handprints? Those were indents created by the Hulk's final push on the door to throw it loose. Hey, it's a dream, right?

@@tvcrazyman At one point in the '80s, there actually was a plan for a Hulk and Spider-Man crossover TV movie. Also, technically, what you're pointing out in this video are not bloopers, but continuity errors and flubs. Bloopers are when actors get their lines wrong or when they are messing around on-set.

In the episode of Homecoming, there's a scene in which the Hulk is running through a field and suddenly part of his green wig flies up and exposes his normal dark hair. The same thing happens in The Trial of the Incredible Hulk movie.

360whiplash-Same with the episode in which Banner follows a woman by the name of Renee to a mill. He's climbing down a ladder when one of the rungs breaks, and Banner falls into the water. Minutes later he changes into the Hulk. When the Hulk rises up out of the water, he almost loses his wig, and you can see where they pinned Big Louie's hair back in preparation for being made up as the Hulk.

@@kevinmiller6380 In another episode, the Hulk rescues a female from a cave-in during a bad thunderstorm, and we get a closeup of the Hulk's face and his face paint has washed off from all the water. I remember watching this show in the 1980’s (obviously reruns since I was born in 1981) and I would love it when Banner would turn into the Hulk as I though the Hulk was amazing and Lou Ferino was good for that time, but he still had an amazing body 6ft 5in, 300+lbs, big muscles, green skin & an awesome wig! We had so many great shows to watch in the 80’s (some reruns of 70’s shows) like The A-Team, Knight Rider, Air Wolf, McGyvour, 6 Million Dollar Man, Quantum Leap, Dukes Of Hazard, Starsky & Hutch, Magnum P.I. and does anyone remember The Littlest Hobo, Flipper, Gentle Ben (he was a bear, black bear I think not 100% on if he was black or brown but black bears are more friendly and smaller) and Highway To Heaven? All shows that I remember watching at my grandparents’s house more than watching them at home, I watched them at home but I just remember watching them at my grandparents’s house more for some reason. I was watching Weird Science & Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark a couple of days ago and thought the 80’s (& 90’s too which I preferred as I was a teenager then) certainly was a great time to grow up in and for movies and for what was on tv, probably because there were less channels on tv the quality of the shows had to be great as they were fighting for a limited number of slots on tv but cable and SKY TV (satellite tv I had here in England which was like cable in America) came along with loads of channels with programming slots needed to be filled so poorer quality programming was made and excepted to fill up that space

Also, when David was jacking up his car, the handle of the jack goes from small too long. Actually, Lou was wearing slippers, not sneakers. They had too color corrected his wig or his slippers. Also, when filming "Married,"when David is telling Caroline who he really is. Bixby's hands moved from up by his chin, then cut to his hands on the table, then back up to his chin, ect. There's also a blooper in "The Homecoming," episode. When the Hulk is standing up, his pants were dark, and cut. Then when going through the door, they were a different color. Then the next scene where the creature is running too his dad's place. The wig came loose where Lou's ear is shown. Finally, in the New York episode, they couldn't have Spider-man in the same scene because producers of the Hulk series had too ground the character as much as possible in the real world. Having Spider-man in the show would of defeated the purpose.

I have the Kenneth Johnson commentary of the pilot episode.. the car was not "Lifted" by Lou.. it was ballanced by equipment and according to Kenneth they got it to the point that Lou could then move the car over the tipping point by himself... but Lou did not lift the car by himself.. Lou also wasn't too happy with the explosion they did either.. he said he nearly had to walk away because he said it was so hot he felt his hairs burning.. The tire the hulk (Lou) ripps off the car and tosses was also a light weight prop tire but Kenneth said he believed Lou probably could have chucked the real thing as Lou was huge (muscular) at that point.. Richard Keil was also originally going to play the part of the hulk and they actually filmed the first few scenes with Richard in the pilot.. but Richard just didn't have the physique of a "hulk" .. so they brought in Lou... and re-shot the scenes again with Lou... but there is one long over head shot by a tree that still remained with Rhichard as the hulk in the pilot.. but its only about a one second or so clip.. But it remained into the final cut..

Much more recently, in a Chevy commercial, there is a real bear. It’s the one where they are making fun of Ford for building trucks out of aluminum. A bear is is released into the room and the scared people have 2 choices of survival, an aluminum cage or steel cage. They all pick the steel cage. The bear is trained to only show aggression after they enter the cage though. It appears to try to tear the cage open but it isn’t strong enough.

No way dude. 😀That's Incredible the TV show was on from 1980 to 1984. That was one of my favorite shows back then. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😀

This video is overall informative, however you jump too much to other scenes without hardly any explanation SMH

I have a instagram for tvcrazyman. I haven't quite got the hang of using instagram yet though. I just have a hand full of posts and it's been a while since I posted anything new on there.
