Wow, nothing else to add as I'm stunned by that price and the lack of units and kitchen. Thanks for the review Peter but that van doesn't come close to a VW Cali which also have great residuals. Cheers K.

Things are becoming totally absurd in the Campervan market . The prices are extortionate and its getting more brazen every year !! Its well past time some of the magazine journalists did an investigative piece on this . What are the actual production cost and what are the mark ups for these companies ? This rip off culture needs to be looked at !!

Everything has gone up - just look at your weekly shop!! The campervan companies aren't ripping anyone off, their costs have shot up, especially the prices of the vans they build on, which have increased massively (and are in short supply, reducing production numbers and profitability).

In news just in... "An in-depth investigation has concluded that the cost of base vans has soared, as has the cost of conversion appliances and materials, plus the labour costs of the the staff that work for the converters". A concerned citizen responded "Who'd a thought?" (obviously not them!)

That isn't a reply worthy of a Journalist . It's a platitude , shockingly servile and could have been written for you by the manufacturers !! Its well past time you guys earned your paycheck and did some proper journalism on behalf of your readers by doing a professional investigation into this . Please re-discover your journalistic ethics and stop being a lackey's for the industry !! Do your job!!@@MotorhomeCampervan

i dont buy tis for a minute . price gouging on an epic scale more like !! A good journalist (on one of the magazines) should have investigated the price rises already !! lets see if any of them have any hunger or ethics left ? @@_bav

There isn't any investigation to be done. Prices on everything, rightly or wrongly have gone insane. Everyone has jumped on the band wagon and the governments of the world don't really care. It is very simply economics - when the fuel prices go way up, everything goes way up. Blame Saudi Arabia for that! Now if Peter and this channel were to "investigate" the campervan manufacturers they would alienate all of the manufacturers. Not one of them would want them to review any of their products and this channel would not exist. I believe that Peter's JOB, which he does very well, is to review the product. Not to have an economics and ethics debate on why such and such costs so much. I think you need to calm down mate and jog on. There are plenty of us that can't afford campervans and motorhomes, and while the prices are too much, we don't attack the guy that is merely reviewing them.

I have a Renault trafic pop top. It's a 2011. Had it three years. Was 17k on a brand new conversion. A beautiful conversion. Came with diesel heater twin leisure batteries pop top with bed twin rotating passenger seat. Mounted 22in TV. Twin gas Jobs and sink etc etc etc. Iv since added twin lithiums fed by a 150w mppt solar panel. Lots and lots more. So when I sat in one of these in brownhills ( Newark) I couldn't believe that someone would willing pay over 72k for one. It seems Spartan inside. I'm baffled how the bare van from Renault turns into over 72k
@daletinsley2954
@daletinsley2954 9 ай бұрын
P.s. the twin lithiums are 135amp connected in parallel that I can switch into my main supply and can be charged via the hook up ( 4amp smart charger ) they were donated from where I work. ( cosmetically damaged ). It make me gloat when I see this van !!

I did a similar thing but serendipity shone on me. I bought the Fiat Talento 6 seater top of the range lwb onyx edition ( same base vehicle ), came with android, alloys, chrome side runner bars, rear parking sensor and reversing camera, air con, cruise, start stop, euro 6, full infotainment etc. when all the airports were shut during covid, brand new for £25k in vat. I got it fully converted with a conventional side kitchen layout, pop top, wind out f60 canopy, 2 liesure bats, solar, charger from alternator for liesure and main battery. carbon fibre effect cupboards, double burner and sink, 50 capacity compressor fridge, 120 cm wide rib bed, all lights, sockets, fairy lights in pop top bed base, webasto heater, water pump and water storage, swivel double passenger seats, gas locker with drop out for 917 camping gaz, attachable table etc.etc. etc. all for £18400. So i now have a high value conversion campervan which was £43400 brand new and built exactly to my requirements and yes can't believe the price of this almost empty van with one burner, no storage hardly and a naff canopy.

Afternoon, yes you would of thought with Adria and they're years of experience and expertise they wouldn't make sure basic mistake with the rear@side awnings! Other then that another expertly presented camper with just two niggley faults. Great vid again Peter, looking forward as always to your next expert eye over campers.

I thoroughly enjoyed your honest review on this camper. I honestly think they've spoiled the experience of that with those extras that shouldn't be extras these days. The market is flooded with better campers with proper bathroom facilities. The only option this has for me is the lower ride height to negotiate those dredded height barriers. Great review as ever. Keep up the good work 👍

That hand rolled awning is similar to the Fiamma F35 and to some other offroad vehicle awnings that are a craze nowadays.

A jack of no trades …if it ain’t got a private toilet , a shower and standing room I ain’t interested.there is plenty of vehicles in the market that can be drove daily and parked in 90% of spaces with these facilities
@stevezodiac491
@stevezodiac491 9 ай бұрын
This size of van doesn't have a shower or cubicled toilet normally, to get that you need to have a sprinter or crafter sized van, with all the lack of parking ability and size problems on the road that comes with it. These sized vans, normally are used with a portable toilet and the use of camp site facilities. We have this size of van but also use it to pull our 7.5 metre fixed bed, 4 berth caravan, ( very good tow vehicle ), when we want space and comfort or want to accomodate more people. In this scenario we use the van onwards from the camp site or on it's own in winter ( less hassle than towing with wind or bad weather ) or doing things like the NC500, where it excels.

Who the idiots liking this comment? It's simply not true - a **usable** toilet & shower requires a bigger form factor. Granted this pop-top is poorly designed such that you can't stand towards the rear of the van, but that's true of a lot of vans that have a cheap pop-top installed.

Great review as ever Peter......... Layout/usability and price however! makes this model a bit of a stinker in my eyes... The tiny kitchen is a terribly big price to pay for a n/s door, child locks and a watchful parent another burner and much more storage and worktop space is a better bet. Those white blinds, fiddly curtains and the awful canopy and rear tent make no sense to me. I can't see the market for this and am stunned that Adria (a great brand and an innovating company) have fallen short with this one. The pricing seems way off too, when a buyer has plenty of choice in the new and almost new markets.......... Keep up the great work Peter, enjoy all your reviews.

I hope that Adria listen to the quite sensible comments that you made such as making the shades darker, better opening of the pop top sides and, I'm not sure why, but I get the impression that you aren't keen on the awning. Did you find yourself ducking as you went uder the height barrier even though you knew that it would fit?

What an absolute rip off. Adria must need the coppers these days. Just seen a review of the Solaris Wildfox camper van, now that is how to do it. The cost of the extras on the Adria are ridiculous in the extreme. In my opinion it's a failure. Been watching your channel for a few years, thank you for all the wonderful reviews, Peter.
