Incredible Sikorsky S-61N Startup, Takeoffs, Landings & Water Drop at YYJ

Күн бұрынThis 45 year-old Sikorsky S-61N belongs to Vancouver Island Helicopters (VIH), and was fitted with a water tank used for aerial firefighting. The helicopter left for a short time, probably to fill up with water at Shawnigan Lake. Later, they came back and performed a spectacular water drop followed by a 360 degree turn right infront of me! This was definitely one of the coolest things I've seen, and the first time I've seen helicopter drop water.

I don't think so, it's been registered as an S-61 since it was built in 1975.
