7:24 they missed a great opportunity. They should have designed it so that when the door is closed it butts up to a barrel that passes through the fender out the front of the car so if there is anyone in front of them trying to stop them or whatever, they don't have to reach out of the car. Just reach over to the door and pull the trigger when you line up the sight peg on the hood with your target.

The Gunbed looks like the most practical version of these. It's fast, doesn't rely on fancy tech and it's big enough for two people to hide guns. Plus, you can reach it when just waking up instead of having to stumble to a table or wall safe. I'm a firm believer in home defense but if you own a weapon and have children around, you owe it to them to have a safety system for your weapons. I kept mine on me when my nieces and nephew visited.

The locking trunk cabinet is for sure made in the US for gov and security only! Did you see it wiggle out of the trunk? For "just" 1.9k bucks? Noone else would pay such an amount of dollars for a lousy construction like that! :D :D :D But, to be honest, some of the shown solutions are pretty solid, even in the eyes of a german skeptic, mistrusting US-gunlaws at any given time. :-)
@kdrapertrucker

Anyone who pays attention mistrusts U.S. gun laws. The U.S. government gives tanks, airplanes, and helicopters to every terrorist group and fascistic dictatorship on earth, but they do not want the average American to have a simple rifle or pistol.

@@kdrapertrucker Could be, your gov doesn't care as much about foreigners in foreign countries as much as about american school kids shot down by their own neighbors... But, I'm not an american. I'm a german. We have very strict gun laws and almost none of our people shot to death. What do I know? Plus: I tend to don't care about foreign people in foreign countries as well. If you wanna get rid of civilian victims from shootings all day - find a better solution than good old Europe. You're welcome to teach us at any given time. ;-)
@kdrapertrucker
@kdrapertrucker Жыл бұрын
@@peterheinrichs7634 actually they seem to care more about foreigners then their own people. Which is just one of the many reasons most Americans do not want them to have a monopoly on use of force. No indult meant, but you Europeans are all pretty much indoctrinated over the centuries to defer to people in power. By statistics the U.S. is far safer then all of Europe when it comes to gun crime. The gun crime hotspots in the U.S. are the areas that have already adopted European style gun control.
@peterheinrichs7634
@peterheinrichs7634 Жыл бұрын
@@kdrapertrucker Ouch! I don't know, what kind of statistics you're refering to. But, you might want to consider a scd look at them. If you're believing, I was indoctrinated by my gov, you should consider, you were indoctrinated too? Who are the people you're listening to? I don't want to say you were. But, chances to be manipulated by someone are the same for both of us. At least, I think I know, what I'm talking about. 'cause I grew up at the east of the wall. They tore it down, when I was 12. So, I got to know a lot about indoctrination by some of the govs and the media. One really has to learn to think outside of the box! I totally understand, why you might mistrust your gov. Every else does as well. ;-) But, if you want to have a scd opinion about your gun laws compering to european ones or about safety in the EU, you should listen to americans, you lived abroad for a couple of years. Might be mindblowing, if you're able to listen.

I must be the worst owner in the whole state of Indiana then. Most of mine are hanging out in the open for ... reasons... and quicker access than if they were to be hidden away in these toys. Still, it's good these options are a thing for folk who don't live alone.

Hoosier, here. Same for me. I don't practice safe storage. I live alone so why should I? Most of mine are right where I can easily access them. Even if someone were to break in, I'd have one in my hand and trained on them before they could blink.

Because in most countries, if their own governments decide to massacre them, they're dead. Which has happened to tens of MILLIONS of people in the last century, in many different countries. Look at what's happening all over the world now. Defenseless people are much easier to push around. Defense should be a PERSONAL responsibility, not one that you offload to others. When seconds count, "the authorities" are minutes to hours away.

The Australian Institute of Criminology, claim that there are approximately 2.5 million firearms in Australia owned by some 1.5 million private citizens and that the inventory of firearms is increasing by about 100,000 annually. Thus each Law Abiding Australian Firearms Owner according to the Australian Institute of Criminology owns 1.6 Firearms. Of course it must be recognised that in Australia “Firearm” includes Paint Ball Markers and Gel Blasters.

Alright, the gun bed has me very interested; imagen some robber broke into your room and has you at gun point, all you have to do is push the back of your bed and the robber will run for their lives. I can imagen this happening in a action film where the person in the bed says "Wanna try it?" and the robber leaves.

I see these as storage options, not as easy access. Concealed weapons will most likely go unnoticed by the thieves and won't end up in the wrong hands. That head board would dangerous to me, I thrash in my sleep and would end up with a gun dropping on my head while sleeping.

Don't be so naive Ed, This is a great research video for theives and burglars. They watch TV also and this gives them important info on where to look for guns and other valuables. People should think twice befjore purchasing any of these gadgets that operate on electricity keyfobs and similar activating devices. When the shit hits the fan, the adrenaline is pumping and the neurological stress symptoms hit you, finding all the buttons, keys, fobs, etc., may get you hurt.
