@@andouille1 If it's from Hermes that's probably a $500 shot glass lol. Still not much against the overall value of the set with the diamonds and gold. I assume the bigger cost will be the labor hours to redo the stones and gold on the glass.

My heart goes out to Peter with the decanter glass. Had it been just a straight re-sale item, I wouldn't have cared. But when they make them custom themselves, we don't know the story behind, at the craftman's desk. We don't know the problems they had to solve, the delight they felt when they solved it, finished it. There's a story to every custom item. The craftsman's story. Maybe some items just flow rapidly like an industrialized factory. No problems whatsoever. Like a LEGO set. But other items, you might have to show a whole lot of love. To persuade them to cooperate. They start out defiant and unruly, like a mustang. But then after a lot of work, you become best friends. I'm sorry, Peter.

Make it a $200,000 set Or in Gold gold for $500,000 Or just do a custom Alagator Case like half vintage/antique 14k Cartier Vanity set cases and half Alagator Watch Box.
