I used to take my son to aldi and I would hand him the stuff. Now he doesn't need me and wants to do it by himself. I miss our dives. I created a monster. But in a good way.

Shame Daddy missed the Watermelon. Quick recipe for a simple pickle: Slice white onion and separate into rings, slice an English cucumber, mix together in a dish, sprinkle over a quarter teaspoon of white sugar and cover with vinegar. Cover dish for a couple of hours. Goes great with cold meat.

Was given lot's of banana's and my garden growing great zucchini that I seeded out because I made Banana zucchini bread. Yep and banana pancakes, separate with plastic wrap and banana pudding and cook rice and mixed it in yum. Love free food.

Lived in a mobile home in Navy trailer park. Big ole Hemi parked right under the kids (Newborn and 2 yr old) bedroom window. Every day at 6:30 the neighbor would light that thing off and go to work. It was so loud the trailer would shake and of course the kids would wake up. Fun times!

The chicken was probably taken from the fridge and left on a random shelf when someone decided not to buy it, the employees have no idea how long it’s been out of the fridge so it has to go in the trash

I make a BLT pasta salad bacon ,lettuce tomato and mayo. It is simple and easy to make. I was hoping that a least 1 of the watermelons would be good.

I love you guys do this. It's sorta the bottom of the barrel. We've tried it but almost everything is locked so no fun. We forrage for food, grow items which easily replicate themselves because we are too cheap to pay out (potatoes, peas, garlic, pole beans, various invasive herbs we can eat). We spend money on seeds for sprouting but it's much less than store brand and sprouts are at peak nutrition. We volunteer at the food bank who gives us just expired milk we use to make batches of cheese over a bonfire.We also tap our local maple trees, come back alter and cook up the sap over a bonfire into maple syrup. If you have pets, you can cook up those eggs as a supplement 1-2 days a week, no more, for your dog food. Animals can only eat certain things so anything that doesn't smell rancid like chicken can be cooked and made as dog food, everything except too many eggs make dogs sick. You can start a compost pile with old vegetables you find then get free manure. We get free manure add grass clippings and kitchen scraps but you get the real deal.
