She got her self in the middle of it by making an ultimatum to Spotify, she said she would remove her music until they pulled Joe Rogans content. They didnt pull his content, she eventually put her music back on spotify regardless because of the amount of money she was losing.

Thank you for writing this. I really want Mr. Rogan to engage in a thoughtful conversation about racism. I think he either doesn't care about the fact that his celebrity presence carries weight and that there can be serious consequences for harmful remarks or he is mercifully hoping to deflect all of this and go his way and earn his dollar. If his remark about "Planet of the Apes" was made to simply amuse some friends I would like him to consider the following questions: 1. Would you have felt comfortable tossing out that remark if you had been with friends who were Black? Or Asian? Or maybe even all-female? If so, why? And if not, why? This is exactly what systemic racism is. And we have to understand just how deeply embedded these ideas are and how they still do REAL DAMAGE to people. I am glad you are seeing the problem. I know a few people that I believe they’re not aware of their racist ideology/thoughts. Ex: Had a white “friend” say she wishes she was black all the time, and I finally asked why? She responded, so she can get special treatment like affirmative action. I laughed and asked her if she knew why we had to legislate some type of equality in hiring, college admissions etc.. she didn’t seem to understand American history. She was ignorant. She thought it was just a gift for being black.

Yes. Developed a bit of a revulsion against some people, even to people who are not conciously racist, but are living in a mind bubble, genuinely believing racism is in the past in their country and media and people with a craving for recognition are making it a thing again, not wanting to admit any other truth even when proved wrong. It's still everywhere and everybody is capable of it and has to be called out. I hate to have serious conversations these days, because people are picking cherries and bringing/turning things out of context. People are digesting information differently and sience has become witchcraft or an opinion, because sometimes it defies ones well worn, wrong worldview. I also wrote that everybody is capable or racism, so would you elaborate? YouToube recommended this interview and I agree with what I saw so far. I'm not that familiar with his work. All I know is, that he is a South African comedian, who has become very popular in the US during the last years. He also did some German/Swiss jokes that I saw and I didn't felt offended the way he did them. So, was he called out and what did he said about it.

It may make them seem less credible, but an idea has nothing to do with the person who says it. For example, someone who smokes two packs a day can tell you smoking is bad for you and advise you not to do it. You may not think highly of them given what they aren't following their own advice, but that doesn't affect how true it is.

Future conversions on his show on white privilege and unconscious bias would be super helpful and totally in line with being a place for open conversation BUT.. he probably knows this is not what his audience wants to hear. Rogan realized that saying the n-word wasn't okay years ago and so he stopped doing it. In fact, there was a specific moment where it was said on his show (at his urging to prove a point) when he realized it was wrong and so he stopped. You know who would've been more than happy to have a "messy conversation" about this? Joe Rogan. But this... just using Rogan to flit around for attention from people who have adopted a groupthink attitude is just preaching to the choir. This is all just fake outrage. Had she TRULY been bothered, she would've reached out to Rogan and requested an interview. Heck... she could still do that now if she wanted to... but that wouldn't work for her because her only real goal is to get pats on the back and say a bunch of nonsense that's only true in her head.
