It is not "India Pakistan 1971 War". It is "Bangladesh-Pakistan 1971 War". We fought against Pakistan from 26th March to 16th December. India joined later on 3rd December 1971.

It is true that India assisted in our training, but when our victory approaches, Indian soldiers defend us. With the goal of putting down Bengali nationalism, the Pakistan Army launched Operation Searchlight on 25 March 1971. Pakistani forces targeted both Bengali Muslims and Hindus. In the ensuing 1971 Bangladesh genocide, the army caused the deaths of up to 3 million people. During the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, members of the Pakistani military between 200,000 and 400,000 Bengali women and girls in a systematic campaign of genocidal rape.

LIES about Ziaur Rahman ! Cheap Druv Rathe doesn't even know our history, but trying to make money out of an extremely indianized version of it. My father was a Muktbahini fighter who fought and won. The real story goes like this: 1. After the war Awami league leaders start looting the country through massive corruption being undisputed leaders under Sheikh Mujib's protection 2. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman abolishes democracy and declares himself "Lifetime President" through passing a farcical bill called "Baakshaal(a one-party state system)" in the name of eliminating corruption, but none of the corrupt leaders face any charges, and looting goes on. 3. His own minister warned him saying "Mr. Leader, you have closed all the ways of removing you from office in a peaceful manner through pen-paper. Now there will be a mass uprising and maybe a coup". 4. Then people and military lose their patience and kill Sheikh Mujib in a coup. 5. Then Ziaur Rahman takes power and abolishes "indianized Baakshaal" dictatorship and reinstates multiparty democratic electoral system Stop lying, the people of Bangladesh will never forgive you for this info-tampering. I'm the son of a freedom fighter. If I can catch your lies, then so will million others. Remember that !

Don't you know how they brutally killed Bengalis on the night of 25th March in the name of Operation Searchlight? He just mention political issue but reality was worst. As I've studied a lot of books based on the libration of Bangladesh, I can assure that your video is unbiased.. but, you should have mentioned that 30 lakhs Bengali sacrificed their life in this 9 months war.. The war was between Bangladesh and Pakistan.. India helped us and we are really thankful to India to their helps.. but, the major parts of war was held by our mukti bahini.. at the end, just 10-15 days ago of this war Indian army took part.. while we fought 9 months against Pakistan Army....

Mr. Rathee, my only son is exactly your age. I have been following your videos for a while even before I came to know of your background. The entire world media today is plagued by politico-financial bias. Nursing the real truth today are a handful of voices of wisdom like yours. Your research on most topics, especially this one, is on spot. Thank you for your courage and honesty. Just one critique - the sacrifice and unparalleled courage of the Bangladeshi people remains understated in your documentary. This war remains until today one of the most atrocious wars in human history where organized rape was used as a military weapon. Your video rings one truth for me which is unique - cultural unity and amity can outwit religious divides any given day. Unfortunately, it is of rare occurrence. The people of Bangladesh have proven it once, and will surely do it again. I am not a citizen of either of the 3 countries engaged in the conflict you describe, so I have been a neutral viewer of your video. And India-Pakistan war keno bola hoy etake? Hishab ase eta? Tokhono amra East Pakistan naame chhilam. There was no Bangladesh and no official recognition by the name Bangladesh (nor any official military) Ejonne India-Pakistan war bola hoy officially but it’s also called Bangladesh independence war.

Bangladeshi people suffered a lot during that 9 months of war. Dhruv, one of the important information you have missed is the sacrifice of 3 million Bangladeshi people who died for the liberation war of Bangladesh. We are grateful to India for helping us though out the war phase and eventually joined our hands on 3rd december to finalise the war. But one thing to mention, It’s the Bangladesh vs Pakistan war . My grandfather fought for my nation in the East Pakistani Border Defense Regiment (BDR), receiving multiple injuries to his neck, shoulder, and chest while training in India. He passed away in 2006. The conflict that raged between Pakistan and East Pakistan is one of the few things he lied about. It is true that India assisted in our training, but when our victory approaches, Indian soldiers defend us. With the goal of putting down Bengali nationalism, the Pakistan Army launched Operation Searchlight on 25 March 1971. Pakistani forces targeted both Bengali Muslims and Hindus. In the ensuing 1971 Bangladesh genocide, the army caused the deaths of up to 3 million people. During the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, members of the Pakistani military between 200,000 and 400,000 Bengali women and girls in a systematic campaign of genocidal rape.

Russia's role in helping India and Bangladesh is quite underrated and rarely discussed I feel. So I would like to mention it here, this also tells us about the scale and severity of this conflict on the global stage. When Pakistan asked for USA's help, USA sent the US 7th fleet, headed by USS Enterprise, which was the largest aircraft carrier until very recently, to Bay of Bengal to intimidate India. In response, Russia sent its 10th Operative Battle Group, which was a nuclear-armed fleet to confront the US fleet. The Soviet Ambassador to India, Nikolai Pegov, reassured New Delhi that Moscow would counteract any moves made by the US or China, so that India could focus on the war without worrying about third-party interference.

I am a Bengali from West Bengal, India. My grandfather was from Bangladesh. It really saddens me to learn about the atrocities against the Bengalis. Such brutality and heinousness against any human race should never be encouraged. I am really glad that India stood beside Bangladesh and helped to overcome the crisis .

I am also Bengali and my grandfather and grandmother was from Bangladesh. I also grow up from my childhood to listen how muslims killed our family members in the name of religion to grab our assets coz we were belongs to jamidar family. We lost everything and came to India only with one clothes. That's why we will hate muslims for my rest of life and also tell my children continue to do so.🙏🙏

I'm a Bangladeshi, I also want to point out that before December when Pakistan tried to rearm their military and provide supplies India stopped all flights over their territory from Pak to BD leaving only Ships and Chittagong port ......during this time Soviet Union sent mines through India to Bangladesh. Bengali Naval commandos who deserted Pak navy to fight for their motherland used those mines to sink more than 50 ships and destroying oil, supplies, food for the pak army and blocked the harbour. It's called Operation Jackpot.......after 1971 Soviet Union then removed the remaining mines to make the port open to business. Soviet union really helped to cripple the pak supply chain.

It’s an excellent narration of our liberation war. In 30 minutes it’s impossible to describe the actual scenarios happed in between 1947-1971. We are the only nation in the world who fought for their language and freedom. It is a matter of great shame that most of the Pakistani people don’t even know what exactly happened in 1971. I request all the Pakistani brothers that this video is only a clue for you, try to find out more info about 1971 and I am sure you will I’ll be terrified what your predecessors done with us.
