why you are avoiding ganga water it is one of the purest holy water. If you kept ganga water for years in any container in house the ganga water did not Spoilage and The scientific reason is that water of river Ganga is naturally having bacteriophages, which do not allow bacterial growth. The high levels of dissolved oxygen in the Ganges River help prevent the growth of bacteria but the Ganges River faces pollution challenges due to the discharge of untreated sewage, industrial waste, and agricultural runoff. This pollution has affected the health and cleanliness of the river. However the ganga water did not Spoilage for coming centuries if government continue the Namami Gange Programme for long-term visions for Ganga rejuvenation.

Sanatan never allowed to force anyone to convert, which christian and muslims already doing here in India, Hindus devotees are free to worship gods in different cosmic forms, Sanatan Dharm is basis of universal , planetry, cosmic, astronomical changes occurring in nature, it gave Ayurveda , most ancient and scientific treatment methodology indentifying the uses of medicinal herbs, kriyas around Human life . Truly amazed to see you visit a place like Varanasi. While its a place rich in culture, Indian heritage but very unique in being the oldest town in the whole world. Am sure you would not have visited a place like this in the world. Thanks for visiting and allowing us a glimpse of the same. Kudos to your will power and strength in choosing to visit Varanasi. A question !!!! Has your visit to Varanasi or any other place in India (Rajasthan, Agra or New Delhi) changed your perspectives about India in any way. Do you find India to be a country that is so very unique a country that there is no replication available of India anywhere in the world. .... Paddy

Lol ganga is the purest river on earth. Just take one litre of ganga water and one litre of purest water according to you in separate bottles. Check after one year, you will find contamination in the second water bottle but ganga water will be clean, bacteria free and pure without any contamination. It has been proven with scientific research. Britishers used to carry ganga water when travelling back because of it's this nature. So try to learn before passing any insensitive comments. An explorer and traveller should respect the place they visit or shouldn't visit..

@@aylinkko According to the research of Chandigarh-based Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), Ganga water contains Bacteriophages (viruses which kill bacteria) due to which Ganga water has antimicrobial attributes. The scientific world has always been amused of the antiseptic properties of Ganga's waters. In 1896, British physician E Hanbury Hankin observed that cholera microbes died within three hours in its water, but thrived in distilled water. The Institute of Microbial Technology -Imtech (one of the laboratories of the CSIR) revealed that more than 20 types of bacteriophages are found in water of Ganga River which can fight microorganisms that cause diseases like tuberculosis, pneumonia, cholera and urinary tract infection, among others...

@@aylinkko It is noteworthy that the Ganga water contains Oxygen levels 25 times higher than any other river in the world. This is one of the reasons of self-purifying attributes of River Ganga and high levels of oxygen in the waters of Ganga gives it the unique ability to remain fresh over a prolonged period of time. Recently, new research reveals that despite of pollution, the water of the Ganga still possess ‘medicinal qualities’. Some microbiologist working on to develop new 'anti-microbial compound' with the help of Ganga water..

@@aylinkko This land where you have arrived is full of mysteries. We were running universities with capacity of more than 10000 students from all over the world when the west was hunting to keep themselves alive. The history and culture of this land is beyond the lenses of western world. When the british arrived india. It was the richest place on earth with 33% of world GDP. I can keep going on and on and it won't be over. If you really want to see the actual india (Bharat), my suggestion would be to visit 'Shri Kailasa temple and Ellora caves' in Maharashtra, Brihadeeswarar Temple in Tamilnadu, Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya Bihar, Konark Temples in Orissa. Just visit any of the places and you'll understand the level of our ancient infrastructure thousands of years old. Some of the structures can't be made even today with so much machines, cranes and technology. You'll understand the Actual meaning of India after visiting these places. Taj Mahal is overhyped..

The guys asking money for blessing is not the same as asking of alms or begging or scamming. . If you get a teeka done or any ritual done by a pandit one needs to pay to keep the transaction in life clear .. The Pandit was doing his job to get you blessed and you need to pay him . People don't understand it and those guys end up asking and you feel that you are getting exploited ..but by not paying him you are the one exploiting his services.
