The value stocks he’s recommended have held up very well & out performed the market significantly. Many have barely sold off during this market sell off

Not sure why investors get stuck on country specific stocks when companies are multinational. Being based in the Western world and selling to the globe, is a good way to play the markets. The best thing an investor can do is ignore the investing sales associates and invest in an index. They have too many irrational biases, some based on childhood upbringing. Marc has a similar mindset as my father from a similar European background, with the same constricted mindset and biases.

As I gave a feedkback on the phone, why does the interviewer take so much time to ask a simple question? He says "you know" too many times. Being the president of such a prestigious company, Mr. Shiv Sehgal, should have questions in written format so he can read them to Mr. Faber without taking too long just to ask a question.

In the end you didn't ask the most primary question! Why price of gold has remained stagnant in contrast to everything asset bubble, and the unending money printing...?! Overall: rudimentary insignificant questions was put to this rare investor which has a historical outlook towards the economical issues...

So I am not clear, is Marc's choice for best assets for the next 10 years value stocks or something else?

My take away is that the Markets are FULL of inexperienced traders/investors who have never experienced roiled and consistently down equities, etc. At some point Capitulation will be a problem. Will shorts be Banned? ? ?

The distance from China to Solomon Islands is twice the distance than from Australia to solomons its more a threat to Australia than to the Chinese. The agreement that was made was the allowance of police and military to "help" the soloman islands in its ability to maintain social order. This means it essentially can act as a military base for the Chinese. There have been riots in the Solomans because of government corruption and many Chinese businesses were targeted there because of favouritism towards the Chinese government and not to the soloman people. A group of senior diplomats there said "there is the potential for civil unrest to escalate if, for instance, such foreign law enforcement or military forces are deployed against Solomon Islanders to quell local dissent". The Chinese have a very poor human rights record as well which is something the non governmental solomans are weary of. Chinas military is a threat to Australia and Australia's military is much too small to be a threat to the Chinese in fact its laughable. The nuclear subs are powered by nuclear reactors and are not nuclear armed. Do we not have the right to defend ourselves? Faber favours whichever region his money is in that's where his loyalty lie.

1)what about Indian intellectual property market and software companies, where are those giants that should drive the constant growth? 2)nobody provoked russian aggression in 2014! 3)trading with Hitler have made him stronger and more aggressive that costs millions deaths.
