Hi, I'm back with another video. This shares my very personal experiences and opinions I derived from them regarding raising styles of the two countries India and Germany. It's been a Crazy journey until now, I'm looking forward to more of those. 😛 I hope you like it. ♥♥

I feel these contrasts that you highlight are not just between German and Indian culture but European vs Asian culture as a whole. European society is much more individualistic whereas in Asia community plays a huge part. Like you correctly said, both has its unique pros and cons.

This was really interesting, such big differences)) I noticed in India that some women in my family went to live to their parent's house for some time after the birth, and I was always wondering why they were not just staying in their home with their husbands instead, now I know why) And the thing about taking walks, I thought it was just the Ukrainian thing - you have to take the baby for a walk outside everyday, even in winter :D I guess it's something about immunity, that it's healthy to be outside, and with babies in India I felt it was opposite - no one was taking them outside unless it was necessary)

The biggest danger about co-sleeping with babies in cold countries is the suffocation out of thick blankets especially during winter. Co-sleeping is strictly not recommended until a baby develops the skill of pushing away an object during suffocation. Of course its important to cuddle with the baby but the most important is his/her safety.

Very well explained the difference between European n Asian culture. Whereas I think both cultures have their own beliefs n logical reasoning. Anyways very nice Blog.

The point of absence of house help and going back to work is something i feel deeply. I am expecting to have my own baby with my german husband soon and i have no clue how we will manage it on our own with no help from my parents who can't come at the moment from India and his parents also live very far :(

Labour is cheap so you don't have to be super rich to afford domestic help.

@@geek7227 and the nannies can afford nannies too, or is society just so cruel that they keep a class of poor people on the bottom and never pay them enough?
@geek7227

@@TheMntnG Usually nannies can't afford nannies. Labour is cheap because of a number of factors and not because people are greedy and want to be cruel. Also like any other market it's demand and supply thing. India has only been independent for like 73 years and was exploited by colonizers for 200 years which completely crippled India's economy. There's a long way to go.
