Good advice,I test rode a Challenger at Toledo Indian demo days and loved it. Currently have a Indian Scout that I also love riding. But that Challenger is tempting,maybe I’ll grab one in a couple years. Enjoy it, it’s a good looking bike

Great advice, I got a great deal myself on a 2019 Springfield Darkhorse few weeks back. Huge discounts plus dealer was great and threw in a Rogue seat for free. And a good trade in on my old bike. But 💯 percent right...don't be emotional about it.

That's all great advice. The bike can get damaged during clean up. I bought my chieftain dark horse in white smoke for $24,470 out of the door. Worked 5 dealers against each other. I'm now looking at the challenger, like yours my brother. Please ride safe.

I tried to buy one ... they didn't seem to care at all. Got a Harley Polaris broke my heart with victory and I gave them another chance. Too bad. Cheers to all the owners it's a great machine too bad.

The same experience for me with an Indian dealer who would not budge on the list price the second year the Challenger was introduced for sale, so bought a new Harley instead and for a really good price.

I don’t understand the “out the door” saying. You said that it was taxes included, then you said after you got the bike you had to pay registration and taxes. Which is it?

I like the Challenger and I am hoping Indian makes a full tour version. Next bike is between a Challenger or Goldwing. Leftover Goldwings are being very reduced in price, a 2018 new bike for $19,900, $6K off sticker. I hope to make the purchase next year. Thanks for the advice. Bike sounds great. Ride safe.

I appreciate your perspective, and advice, makes sense. I tested out the Challenger at Daytona Bike Week super nice bike fit me real nice. But went with a Roadmaster instead. I rode the RM right after the Challenger, and a voice in my head said this is your bike. Maybe Challenger full tour model will come out someday(this fall), and tempt me. Thanx for the good info. My wife walked by as I was watching your video she commented on your use of “etc,etc,etc” 😃😄😁😆🇺🇸

You'll loose about $1K-$3K doing a trade in at the dealer. They'll try to tell you all kinds of things about your trade in to make it sound like it's worth less so pay attention

I want to like it. I think it's a step in the right direction for cruisers and better than a HD, but when I consider that's it's 29K, what else can I buy for that? Goldwing, K1600 and R1200RT. All three are better bikes than anything Indian or HD makes from a functionality standpoint. I don't like the flat paint colors either and there's no where to stow a full face helmet, so, it's a no.

Too many factors for to consider before calling him a liar. Number one, market dictates price, he’s in Fl. Have you ever looked at the used bike market in Fl? From what I have seen (H-D) is pretty saturated. That can make new and used sales harder for bike sellers new and used (buyers market). It’s a new model bike but everything sells for a price and you just can’t assume he couldn’t get that price because it’s a new model. The word of the day is negotiation, and newer bikes have the highest markup, therefore more room to negotiate.

I got a dealer in a different state who said he'd give me a Challenger with Navigation for $23,700 out the door (not including sales tax I'd have to pay in my state). Is that good? It took me awhile to find him because ever other dealer kept giving me quotes of $27, $25, etc.

Cycle trader. Search for best price nationwide. Email them asking for the out the door price Fly and ride

Absolutely! I would even go so far and get a better interest rate from my own credit union and set my own financing! Absolutely!

If a salesman is good, he'll try to make himself some money, his dealership some money, and get you as good of a deal as he can - while still observing the first two points - and you the bike you want. If everybody doesn't come out ahead, he is doing it wrong. The problem is that people hear 'salesman' and immediately think old school smarmy bastards. That's 90s selling, not the way it should be done today. Traded my '17 Springfield in on the Challenger and loving every second!

I cant think of a good reason to use dealer financing. Better off getting pre-approved at a credit union and give the dealer a check. Interest Rates will almost always be better a CU or a bank where you hold an account....even if the Dealer is offering rebates, sign with them and the next day pay it off with the money from the CU. You can thank me later.

Im gonna call BS on this one man, lol. 1st of all you over paid, along with every other dude that had to have the 1st year of the Indian challenger. Lets be honest, Its the hottest bike in the industry to own right know, ESPECIALLY if you have a KZfaq channel and want to keep things topical and gain those subs with hungry eyes like ME, who are to Froogle to buy anything NEW that is a Toy. same as a Boat, or a 3rd vehicle in my mind. If your really being honest, you would tell us to WAIT and pick up a Challenger next year, or the year after that, when there are 5-6k rebates on New old stock in dealerships. Example: year 2018, the New Goldwing was THE bike to have, and this year(2020) you can get a New 2018 for 20k OTD! SO, Like I said, im calling BS bro LOL, Not that im hating on ya, Im a fan and im tuned in and loving your new challenger content every week. Peace ;)

You paid 29k, for a bike that cost 28k, but you got "fee's waved" and saved a few hundred bucks. you still paid Tag/Title/Tax on top of the purchase price. correct? So my point is, your good deal is relative to how much you wanted the bike. which is fine, but being honest, 29k for ANY motorcycle is Too much. IMO. Im not really criticizing you, im just stating facts. to each his own, but since youtube is all about comments on everything under the sun and filming it. I doing my part and giving you my 2cents. try not to get your feeling hurt, makes you look like a pussy. ahaha..

I think what "your boy G" is trying to say is he paid 29k for the Challenger "out the door" except it didn't include sales tax. So he paid full MSRP and then $600 in junk fees. To be fair, though, deals were harder to get on this bike back in May. Now it is easier, but we're also headed into winter.

I was wondering, bro, what state you live in and what the sales tax was, because it's pretty expensive, where I live, it's 10.25%, in L.B. Calif, so, I was going to try to make me a deal locally... thank you, ride safe...
