Mrfa is dead project instead of concentrating on mrfa we must buy 3 or 4 squardons of rafale and 6 to 8 squardons of tejas mk2 depending upon trails and concentrate more on amca fighter jets 300 to 350 and start a development of sixth generation fighter jet for the replacement of 4th generation fighter jet after 2050 or 2060

Armed Forces and MoD along with National Security Council are more focused on importing Stryker despite Kestrel being available and having cleared trials. Same is the case with us trying to give Foreign Artillery a chance even though we have Domestic Options available. Irony is other countries are procuring these weapons much faster than our own Armed Forces. This only damages the morale of these companies and reputation of our products infront of other countries. If you want something from US then focus on procuring P8I Poseidons, Chinook Helicopters & MQ9 Drones. These are real force multipliers that can give you an edge. These are the real worth the money purchases, not Stryker or M777. Wherever we have an indigenous option even if it is 80% of imported weapon, procure it in bulk and ask companies to continuously work on upgrading them. Case in point being ALH Dhruv & LCA Tejas.

Yes its not so much skin but special radar absorbing paint that is now 90% absorbent as opposed to the paint used on the F35 which is only 70% absorbent ..The paint was discovered by a Chines woman in America 2 years ago 12 months latter India have there own type ..India now has everything to make there own 5th gen fighter including there own engines because in the last few weeks India have developed there own aircraft fin alloys that can withstand high temps and tremendous force

@@Jefe-Grande Trouble is its very very very expensive thats why there not painting the F35s there still using the old paint but flights over mach.1.2 is banned cos the paint peels of ..The new paint is much stronger but probably even more expensive .But i agree you could still paint a couple of missiles or 4th gen with it for a trial run especially one with the latest software and radar

@@Jefe-Grande The F35 doesn't have the latest form of RAM and peels of wen going too fast and also the sun thats why they need to cover them on aircraft carries sometimes thats not possible and you will see some flaking of paint ..the new paint is much stronger and can withstand greater heat

It's planned for Sukhoi planes. But the tech is costly and needs frequent maintenance. So they will do it on a need basis or if it becomes cheaper.

If we can get swift and CATS and AESA equipped Super Sukhois to act like AWACS then we have no need for anything other air dominance aircraft.. Also We can compensate with medium and long range air def systems.

@@TheLargeoldshoeThe thing is Russia and USA have all infrastructure to manufacture jets and China is also dictatorship country so there is not much delays when it comes to defence India is democracy that's why there are soo many delays either we need to increase infrastructure for jet manufacturing (which is not easy) or make policies which removes all those approvals needed there should be only one approval either from defence ministry or president otherwise we will never compete with other countries in jet production

Only US defence companies can produce and induct planes within a 1-2 year time frame. Everytone else will take 5 years +. India with Boeing, Lockheed Martin & Northrup Grumman makes India 100x more powerful than any other option. Most jobs, most supply chains, most technologies most everything. Everyone else is a waste of time and money imo. Indian citizens need to lobby more for more US collaboration and embrace more private enterprise and partnerships. EU and Russia are slow and stretched, cant handle demand. US supply is abundant. Understand the benefits for young Indians development.
