Lovely kind people , one of my daughters best friend all through school was Indian,girl she and her family are so lovely , when I was ill with cancer and couldn’t get out of bed my daughters friends mom brought us food to our house because I wasn’t well enough to cook my hubby was working and my daughter and son (twins ) then 14 were busy looking after me and keeping the house clean washing ect and going to school, I couldn’t thank their family enough very kind .love Indian people x

Iv lived in both India and the UK. I often find that people in the UK will always say how busy they are and therefore canr help as much as they would like. However I think people in India are even busier as after all they carry heavy items on their heads. Yet the people in India can always give u time and love

OMG. I am in love with India, and the Indian people. Such generosity of spirit and kindness. You must feel so blessed, despite all the problems facing you back in the U.K. I am so impressed by how the women create such wonderful meals with so few of the “gadgets” we seem to need here, and how the men drop everything to help complete strangers. Only possitive vibes and love and they wouldn't accept any money from you 🙏😇💕 BEAUTIFUL Let this be a lesson and example to some people hopefully Love and light to you both ❤

In addition to showing their visitors kindness they also show alot of trust. Re I am traveling in India at the moment and often run out of cash. So the vendors always tell me to just pay later. Believe me that wud never happen in the UK. (I'm from the uk)

I'm loving how Liam and Janine make India look good. Mainstream media tend to report the poverty, the tragedies and the crime in India. Mainstream media can f**koff. Bad things happen In every country. In India people will give you their heart and soul. ❤ As long as ya use your common sense you will be safe. Re don't go out at night, don't get too drunk, don't talk to strangers etc. you behave in India as ya wud in any other country. So if ya apply common sense during ya travels u will be safe and ya will see the good hearts of the ppl ❤❤❤❤❤

Absolutely. I'm currently traveling India and living with a host family. I'm usually up early and out but this morning I had a lie in. They were worried as I was late for breakfast so they came to check on me. God that type of service, support and love would never be available in the UK. Can't imagine so.

Good to see our friends from United Kington and many other parts of the globe are having first hand experiencing of what Indian “jugaad” is all about. We don’t complicate things we just try to fix these issues without much fuss like going to big posh service centre with the help of towing trucks and then paying hefty amount for the repair job. The people in India are so lovely and warm and so so helpful 🥰 and again the food looked amazing.Love the nasal cleaning lol i have a neti pot with himalayan salt and clean my nasal passages once a week ,helps you sleep if you do it before bed. Liam I could tell you so many similar stories and as much as they get you down the help from every man and his dog just makes a bad situation great. And as you mentioned its very hard to pay them as they just want to help you its so refreshing as were not used to being helped by strangers who want nothing in return, this is why I know I say it every time I send a message but I love this country and I keep coming back and that won't be changing anytime soon. I seem to be no more than 40 k away from you recently so I'm sure we shall cross paths on this amazing adventure in beautiful India 🙏 stay safe both of you. ❤

Pick your place of residence carefully. Do your due diligence as to the legal aspects; do some serious financial planning. Please be aware that foreign nationals cannot own property here unless they possess an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card.

I as an Indian who has travelled and lived abroad, I hadn't really thought about how hospitable my country was - just took it for granted. The more I hear something like what you've said in your comment, the lower goes the disbelief I first had. It really is that impersonal? Why? What is so hard about stopping and helping?

Oh Jane the people are TRULY hospitable. I'm form England and currently traveling in India. At the moment I'm slow traveling in order to gain cultural depth. Part of my slow travel experience is to live with a local family. I was sleeping in this morning and they came to check on me as I was not awake at my usual time. They show the utmost care towards their guests ❤❤❤❤❤❤
