Indian Ringneck Parrot talking (Kiwi Green)

Kiwi was a chatterbox today. I'm trying to teach him to say peekaboo again. I've heard him say it when he was younger but he hasn't said in quite some time, so hopefully he will recall it in his memory and start saying it again. It's cute to hear him saying because he actually says "peek-coo-coo"!

Dash hasn't laid any eggs yet and honestly I hope she doesn't because I don't know how to raise baby birds. I would imagine she would lay the eggs in the cage and I don't think they would survive, so I hope she doesn't lay any. Thanks for watching!😊🐦

Why does Kiwi smack his beak if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve raised, tamed, and lived with parrots most of my life but I’ve never had a ringneck so I don’t know their specific behaviors. I know cockatoos smack their beaks as a pleasant greeting or to show affection so I was wondering if ringnecks do it for the same reasons.
