So many of their arguments have been shutdown with simple common sense and they think it's because of how they worded their argument instead of realizing they're just wrong. So their strategy is to form their questions with pre made rebuttals for every answer they think they might get. (Think 8 mile when Rabbit wins the battle by rapping everything the other guy was going to say about him.) They think this will leave the speaker speechless with no rebuttal. The reality is the question becomes nothing but a word salad that makes them sound like a moron.
