People who are taking its due to reservation. Let's get a fact check here. General ews reservation 10 percent, obc ncl 7 percent, st 6 percent. This is mostly followed reservation system in indian Institute. Some states have different but the mentioned reservation system will be implemented in pretty much every state. So don't tell that many people leave for reservation. Mostly people leave india after completing iit so they have already gone through the reservation gate. Many people go there because of less corruption, better air quality, better work culture, less judgemental society. Now why general caste people go mostly? Well it's due to only majority of general caste can afford those expanses of studying in abroad. On average general caste people are much more richer than other caste. Now is there poor people in general caste? Yes but sadly they don't go to abroad because they can't afford it at all. Now these section were affected by reservation most because neither they can afford expensive education and neither they were getting reservation and that's why government gave general ews 10 percent reservation. Now those who lucky enough to study in abroad do u really think they need reservation in the first place? Because they are well privileged already. So don't always blame the reservation system. Is there a problem with reservation system? Yes because there is two section in sc,st caste one is poor other is economically stable. But most of the time reservation places gets filled with the second section that the first section who needs it the most don't get anything. Although government have categorized obc into two section cl and ncl where cl who have stable income don't get reservation. I am from obc cl so I don't get reservation but I still defend it because it's really important for the backward society. So hope government categorize the sc,st caste too soon it's became better.
