Beautiful homes! I'm sure no one will look back with respect at the McMansions being built today in a hundred years time.

The resale on these historic homes are crazy but people are willing to pay the extra price for the unique architectures I'd do the same I Love historic homes with modern insides

For almost ten minutes I was a teenager again. I was walking with my grandmother. I could smell the Honeysuckle waved to the Vernors and Betty Buick.

One of our friends rented one of these homes. One night all our girlfriends spent the night and we heard noises. She forgot to mention the house had bats!

Karl Greene But these homes were built after the turn of the century in the teens, twenties and thirties. The Civil War ended 60 years prior to these being built. I don’t see how could have been used as shelters?

These are beautiful, but take a look at the mansions on Provencal. Access is restricted to residents. My parents lived in the apartment above the carriage house of the Smith Mansion when they were first married.

Why, oh why paint walnut wood white? A disgrace and a complete lack in taste and decorum, surely a historic home deserves to be restored to its original nature and utmost of care and complicity.
