As far as I know: Teacher's, BlackDog & 100 pipers are all blended scotch whiskeys(nearly same priced in India) - grain + malt whiskey brought in barrels from Scotland and only bottled in India as per alcohol percentages. Blenders Pride(Indian grain whiskey + some scotch malts, no molasses no artificial flavour). Signature whisky is a blend of imported Scotch malts with Indian grain spirits and other neutral spirits, possibly molasses based. Not sure about Royal stag it is blended with Indian grain whiskey may be some molasses and scotch malt a bit(not sure). Hope it helps.

You need to try Amrut also, its the first single malt in india :) not sure why they didn't suggest Amrut, Whisky connoisseur Jim Murray named Amrut Fusion single malt whisky as the third best in the world...

Few others that you should try next time when you guys visit are Amrut well known Across the globe also came in top 3 and top 10 many times in world review. John Paul it is from goa single malt. Solan Gold from himachal. Few well known Indian single malts 😊😊

phele baat to I have a 3 year degree in hospitality, I have studied whisky as a subject. doosri baat no one said JD is good for me it smells like nail polish remover all I am saying is by definition whisky has to be made out of grain (barley, corn, rye) and it has to be aged in barrels these are rules for anything to be called whisky my recommendation fo Amrut and Paul John are completely Indian... to phele padh ke aao uske baad bolo abhi bhi samajh nahi aaya to hindi me samjhate hun rs, BP, signature etc. cannot qualify as whisky in any other country apart from India because they are made from molasses and not grain get this in your thick skull

Blenders Pride is the only premium whisky from India made from grain spirit, whereas others are made from molasses.

100 pipers, Teachers, Black dog are scotch, manufactured in Scotland but bottled in India. Blenders Pride has some percentage of scotch mixed with grain alcohol.. signature too.. royal stag is 🤐
