One player couldn't hit lay ups, which is sad. There are a couple players who have no business being on the court and you let go a defensive standout....really? Good move, Fever Owner...you must like giving players to the Chicago Sky and sabotaging The Fever. Fast tempo is how you beat Storm because that puts the pressure on them, screw slowing it down, don't let your opponent setup their defense. Don't walk the ball down the court....attack, especially when you don't have the outstanding defense.

That's not what she said and that goes without saying, that she's asking for a break. She clearly stated veterans aren't talking to her. All she wants to do is play basketball. She doesn't want to be in the back and forth that goes on. She is talented and I'm not taking that away from her. Her and Angel will both be dynamic players for yrs to come. The media unjustly created an environment that she doesn't want. You can have favorite players. There's nothing wrong with that, but you have to understand that other players are just as good too .

Fire Sides, Dunn and Wheeler, the rest of the team will be good if they have a coach that actually know how to do the job. This coach is a joke, Indiana is a known for invested in basketball yet they cant get a good coach. She said Clark needs to shoot but when Temi and her are doing good she pulled them out and bench them. She always do that, it kills the momentum of Clark, of the game.

Therein lies the problem! CC is doing what you asked her to do! Not shoot!!!!

Anyone else think Smith just seemed slow and out of synch the last two games but especially tonight. She just seems to lack the grit and determination my least favorite player, Angel Reese, has. And I hate saying that but it’s the truth. Was Smith good in college or what? I just don’t see it.

I don’t know the head coach very well, but the Fever needs an upgrade at that position. They need better play calling on both sides of the ball.

Would like to know the amount of people in this comment section that actually watched the game last night? If you really listen to the end of this press conference, I think you can hear the coach really try to indicate that the team HAS to find a way to get Caitlin open. ‘15 shots minimum’ ‘getting the ball back at the end of the action’ even calling out for the first time that ‘players aren’t converting on the passes she’s feeding.’ I am as critical of this coach as anybody, but I do fully believe to see this team begin to make Caitlin the focal point of this offense. During these actions, to my mind the only ones who should have the ability to halt the action and make a play off the dribble should be Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. Erica Wheeler, Kristy Wallace trying to make something happen off the dribble rather than waiting for the action to develop I believe cost Caitlin at least 4-5 real good looks tonight.

When is Sides going to admit she isn’t meeting her teams needs.

The only one who needs growing up is your coaching . One of the main most important responsibility as a coach , is to build a team , build trust amongst your team , build a strong bond around them , and that's the problem with your coaching . Your team has no chemistry , everyone's playing for themselves . You as a coach should set a good example and be the leader that everyone wants to follow : but it looks like you don't like Caitlyn yourself , . Anyways everyone can keep saying that they don't feel any animosity towards Caitlyn , but people are not stupid , we can see it through your actions . Your actikns speaks louder than works .

i keep hearing the word "learning" but the coach still doing the same thing several games already, no adjustments? was there any play/screens for clark? clark should be more aggressive taking more shots work on her mid range too, she has alot of following seeing her just waiting around for the pass to come back to her is getting boring, mitchell is not shy to take a shot every single time she has the ball even if how awful the shot is, mitchell looks like only plays for stats as long as she gets her qouta nothing else matters, practice basic picks and screens and cutting to the basket most especially parctice holding/receiving "pass"

Christie Sides should do the right thing and step down as the indiana fever basketball coach. Just like you tell the indiana fever players. It will take some time to get things right. So, take all the time you need somewhere else Christie Sides, Good Bye. For the life of me I don't understand why Aliyah Boston is guarding the 3-point line on defense? all Christie Sides doing. Any other team has all their big players on defense, underneath the basket fighting for rebounds and on the paint blocking shots, the smaller players guard the 3-point line, since they are faster than the bigger players and can go on a fast break to score after a rebound pass from the big players. (Aliyah Boston you are the only player I would keep in the indiana fever to play with CC, and replace the rest of the team and coach) No coaching advice for Caitlin Clark before a game, that is shameful the way Christie Sides treats the star player of the indiana fever. That is right Caitlin Clark is the star player of the indiana fever get it together ladies and fall in line with the program or get out of the way. Looks like Sides is under a lot of stress from the external pressure of the fans. She is definitely struggling to even talk normal- she looks like she is in fight or flight response. WOW!

For the Coach: This interview is heartbreaking…You are truly breaking Caitlin’s spirit. Why are you allowing Caitlin to get iced out by her own team? I really want to know. Are you telling me you don’t see this with your own eyes? After Caitlin passes the ball she will never see it again…It’s a joke all over the internet. There are parody’s of her teammates just standing there getting hit in the face, chest and shoulder with the ball. She should have 25 assists a game. And make at least 25 x 3pt attempts. You haven’t gotten better. You are not a cohesive team and are worse now than you were in your first game against the Storm where you lost by TWO POINTS. I’m so disappointed in this team right now, you’re really making it gut wrenching to watch.

The never-ending Infamous Christi Sides mode of operation: Don't set ANY plays for CC...especially if she does well in the first half. Keep the ball from her in the second half. Make NO adjustments that see tangible results. Keep your friends/buddies on the court to never send the ball back to Caitlin hands. And then Feed The Same Old BS post game after post game. You are so far over your head its pathetic. It is no wonder you were always an assistant coach. Do CC and her fans a Favor and Trade her to a team that has a Coach to build a TEAM around a Generational Player....and Team Members that are fine with being a part of that. Dunn, Sides, Wheeler, Mitchell, Wallace and Smith sure don't want to be a part of that. They have their own agendas and should be kept far from Caitlin Clark. Hope the NBA steps in before you ruin this girl's spirit.

Caitlin Clark is the most tactful athlete on the planet. She knows very well that if she drives more to the net she will sink the shots, but she must "play for the team". Great news that she and Aliyah have bonded. Boston is very caring, a good mentor spiritually (she calms herself with gospel music) and she really gives it her all on the court. There is a lot to look forward to. Fever fans need patience.

Clark also needs to NOT pass unless she is certain the pass will be completed. If the pass is not there, she should hold it and continue moving the ball...OR - Take the damn shot!

Want to know how good CC is? Watch how she is double and some times triple teamed by her opponents. Sides needs to go. Please use the break for the Olympics to replace her.

I've been saying this all year and the more Mitchell and Sides open their mouths, the more crystal clear it has become. The Fever do NOT want Clark to make an impact, they want to make an example of her because ownership didn't want Dunn to draft Reese with the #1 pick.

The Fever is a team that needs a better coach. They feel like a headless powerful being. Rooting for this team. Go Fever.

The “nobody gives me advice” comment was in response to the question “What is the best advice a VET has given to you in games?” This was not about her coach or teammates. In the Sky/Aces game prior they were talking about how even the vets on the opposing teams are constantly giving Angel Reese advice, so I think this question was asked to see if CC has had the same experience and she obviously has not.

Boston need to get in the gym and do the Mikan drill about an hour a day. Until she understand angles and how to use the blackboard.

CC should buy Fever team out and hire a new coach staff and GM. Fans will help her with money.

Caitlin, stop blaming yourself. It's the coach's responsibility and she sucks. Always listen to your gut in how you play, that is what made you successful.

I'm sick and tired of "We just gotta do this and we just gotta do that" . Coach Sides, it is your job to put them in a position to do those things...and if it doesn't work call a timeout, make the adjustments and run plays to counter their defense.
