Many casuals, Clark fans, and people using Clark for politics made things racial, when Reese did the hand gesture that Clark was doing to others, they called her names and said she was attacking Clark because she's white. They called her classless, mocked her looks, etc. Even though Clark taunts players, , yells at refs, and has tantrums, etc. She doesn't get the same treatment at all. Black women in the WNBA are called ugly, lesbian, loud, ghetto etc. Clark is painted as a role model and a class act by the media and her fans. Go to the comment sections for Reese, it's disgusting. They even attacked her outfit at draft night, and called her classless, as if Clark was dressed for church. Many of these same people say things like " Nobody cares about the WNBA" " I bet no one can name 5 players" "People only watching for Clark" They put the target on Clark's back. Many of the players and real fans are sick of it, the Clark fans, casuals and media are hurting the sport. Every interview, players have to be asked about Clark, it has to be frustrating. Racism definitely plays a role here. Players like Aja deserves just as much attention, heck even Kate Martin, her IOWA teammate out played Clark. She should get credit for larger crowds as well, not everything is because of Clark.

Lack of defense is entirely on the players, the coach is not in the game. The coach can tell them to play defense, but it's up to them to actually do it.

Defense is effort and you can't coach that. That's something you have to want to do.

CC is the worst of the team on defense. It's about time for her to come off the bench

She's the best player college basketball ever produced. She's not playing well, and part of that is because her coach doesn't know how to play her, and part of it is because she hasn't had the opportunity to really settle yet (which is partly because she hasn't had enough game minutes with all her team). Lisa Bluder's eyes must have rolled so far up she could see the inside of her skull.

I would put CC as second but you can tell, my girl was TIRED, she was on the bench looking sick. I have faith in Clark, people put too much pressure on her.

She has handles, she ju's just looking for teammates to pass to or shoot the ball herself that she neglects guarding the ball, she probably was able to do that in college but in the pros, the players got quicker hands, faster and better athletes on the average. She just has to change her paradigm that she can't do that anymore, she'll adjust.
