This is one we have reviewed before, but for various boring reasons, this movie has some gremlins that trigger some system somewhere that causes it to be blocked again and again. There are edits in this to try and avoid that.

Indiana Jones and the last crusade is the best Indiana Jones movie of all time

My favourite Indy. One of my favourite films. It’s a really close call, but what edges Last Crusade above Raiders for me? “I thought I lost you boy!” Shut up, I’m not crying you’re crying 😭

In 1989 I was working as a projectionist at a theatre that showed this film. I brought my father to see it, and it will be a memory that I will treasure until I die.

Perhaps Alexei's second best portrayal of a used car dealer on the big screen. Though that character was named Fedor Goldokin, he'll always be Teddy Balowski in my mind, "Hello Boys".

As I'm watching this, a bus with a huge advert for the Dial Of Destiny just drove past the cafe - rubbing it in!

Had this playing at my university end of term ball…being right next to the giant screen at the speed boat race was an amazing memory for me! Cool fun film! 🤯🤯🤯😎😎😎👍👍👍

Temple of Doom is fantastic and will always be my fav to watch. Love the gore and the humour involved, mixing between both throughout and I really adored Short Round (Ke Huy Quan)

The ONLY problem I had with Last Crusade is how dopey they made Marcus Brody in this film. It certainly wasn't enough to dim my enjoyment of the movie in the slightest; I just had this loose picture in my head from Raiders of what kind of guy Marcus was, and it wasn't the living embodiment of Goofy. Everything else in this one worked for me straight away, especially River Phoenix as a young Indy. After this and Sneakers, it's a bloody tragedy that we didn't get a lifetime of work from the guy. And it's probably a controversial opinion, but I definitely think Indy works best when he's pursuing religious relics that are taken with a degree of reverence that lifts the films up. Once you start chasing interdimensional aliens and time dials, you've already lost a significant portion of the audience before the damn thing even begins.

Sean Connery playing an American with a Welsh surname talking with a Scottish accent, a bit like when he played a Spanish Egyptian talking with a Scottish accent, or a Russian sub commander with a Scottish accent.

I like your content generally, but the random still images in this video are rather jarring, especially near the beginning. Still, this is probably my favourite of the four films.

I went to see this movie with my girlfriend at the time, who was very large-chested. I must rent Last Crusade at some point, cos I don't remember a damn thing about it. 🤣

This film should have been called, Indiana Jones meets The Three Stooges. It destroys all the mystery surrounding Indy, turns Marcus into a bumbling idiot and then devolves into a slapstick comedy that ends on a cliche ending.

This is by far the best of the trilogy. And there only is a trilogy. Three films. That is all. No more films have been made. No more films will ever be made. Nuff said.

On the whole, while I have serious issues with 'Temple Of Doom', I still prefer it to 'Crusade'. The 3rd film (despite a great 2nd act) is loosely plotted and doesn't have any real momentum to hang various good ideas on (ignoring some tired and plain bad ideas). There is also far too much meta and tongue in cheek humour that further deflates the sense of stakes and story. Doody isn't experienced enough to be able to pull off a difficult part like this, despite giving it a credible attempt. She is further undermined by the limited screen time and the basic dispensability of her character. Williams score isn't really up to the same standard as his first two either. Although that still means he composed some excellent themes and cues.

Great movie but reinventing Marcus Brody to be a bumbling fool was a bad call.

Temple of Doom is the best in the series.

This is a good entertainment but it would have been so much better with a lot less comedy.
