Fans tend to take the 2nd unit for granted, but TJMac has taken the Pacers' reserve squad and made it his own. You can tell guys who come off the bench really respect him just as the starters who play with Haliburton respect him. This mat be Haliburton's team, but the bench plays for TJMac. He is the leader of this Bench Mob with their "Next Man Up" mentality. I love it!

Stop underrating Obi Toppin. I called it, you wanna speed up the pace and space. You play Toppin with either Pascal at C, or Myles. One of them sits. You need Hali with Toppin to play his best game. Was also huge that McConnell got going. But actually placing Obi with Hali was huge imo.. Been waiting to see it. Been frustrated at not seeing him in the starting lineup more and he deserves more minutes. He's hustled on Defense too. Whether or not he's always stopped the guy from scoring. He makes an effort and runs guy's down. Stopped Lopez on a switch. By getting in front of him causing a miss at the rim.

Obi is one of the few of your best player's. Obi should have gotten the game ball. Because even with lower minutes. Not playing with Hali and no matter who he's played with. Despite how frustrating it must be. He's still been consistent and brought enough. Even without playing in the best lineup that benefits his game the most.. Which also benefits Haliburton's game the most.. They need to think about that. Who makes Haliburton's game the best. Pascal and Myles together make themselves better at time's.. But not even as much.. Hali and the other's and guy's left out like Obi don't benefit from playing with Pascal and Myles both as much. Obi gives pace and space.. Transition and a cutting lob threat.. that hustles, grabs boards and makes effort on D. Which he's grown a lot in that aspect. Time it's noticed and he needs to be appreciated. I'd want him to know how important he is to this team and I'd made him a guy I'm trying to keep here.. I still don't understand the Smith not playing over Jackson. Just because he's been out some game's?? Dude not able to practice, or play?? What's the deal? Not in the plans, so not wanting the fans to see him?? Another screw up in result to this trade I feel imo.. Walker not playing enough this season to get more burn now. To have not tried him on guy's like Middleton early on..
