Speaker is respected when Lok Sabha proceedings are on. It is the seat that is given respect and not for the assumed superiority of the individual person occupying the seat. Such niceties are not known to this LoP. Elders are to be always respected- this is Indian culture which this RaGa has had no occasion to know. Instead of wasting time in trying to snub others he should engage himself in serious business for which he has been sent to LS.

There is a reason as to why the speaker sits on a much elevated level than all MPs and also because he sits on the parallel side he is not an equal, the MPs sitting parallel to the speaker are equals including the PM.
