I think the reason the first bit of the movie was so fast paced cause of Arjun's fast paced look on life. He was always about making money, and anxious about work. Adn then after the dive scene, the movie slowed down and settled cause he finally learned to take life slowly, to enjoy every minute. I think thats beautiful ❤❤

did y'all know that the poem after the diving scene was written by farhan akhtar's(the funny guy in the movie) father. he writes poetry too and sings. even the poem is recited by him in the movie y'all should def chdck some of his hits they're good.

The abrupt music change that you said sounded like an ad break is where the intermission break is placed during the movie's theatrical release. Most Bollywood movies have some kind of plot twist or mini cliffhanger at this point - in this movie it's Natasha's arrival.

I always see people saying how Laila's philosophy of life is practically unrealistic, but I also think people often misinterpret what she was trying to say. She never meant that jobs are unimportant or making money is wrong or that you should quit your jobs. She only meant that don't make money or your job the centre of your life. Take out time for things that make you happy. If the job makes you happy, that's nice. But if it doesn't and it's still all you think and care about, then you're simply living your life as a slave of the future. You're not giving yourself the freedom to be happy NOW, when it matters the most. You're saving it for later, when who knows if that later will ever come? In the movie, Laila has a job too. But she takes out time to travel and dive, because that makes her happy. And she advices Arjun the same, because she can see even though his world revolves around money and he says it makes him happy, in his heart, it really doesn't.

That is the European outlook on life instead of American ( Hritik is a bit more capitalistic, tho from UK). And they can have that outlook because of a better social security provided like life insurance, free university, pension scheme. So typically people slow down and learn to enjoy life instead of trying to be more rich.

excatly it's not that hard to udnerstand imo money is needed for basic life and necessities but to negate fun, family and fiends just so you cna secure more money is not a way to live, there should be a balance

Yes, Hrittik Roshan is very good actor when it comes to realistic and he is also so much versatile . You can't adjust his changeable role like "koi mil gya", " laksya", "super 30" etc . Though he is not doing so much movies like srk, salman etc but his movies are worth to watch .

I think the reason for the songs to be changed in a fast mode and hence making the movie feel rushed - is because the title "zindagi na milegi dobara" means you won't get to live the second, meaning life is a one time take. These three characters, each have their own issues but all their issues revolve around the idea of taking moments into granted. To live life means to live in the moment to savor up the meaning of life. There happens to be slow parts such as like yk the water scene where everyone is just on stand still - showing them savoring up the moment of part of their life. The director changes in contrast of fast to slow scenes to show the development of life being fast with time but to take it slowly is all that it takes to savor up the actual meaning
