Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Monday met flood-affected people in Assam's Cachar district before heading to neighbouring Manipur where he visited relief camps in Jiribam and Churachandpur and interacted with the people who were affected by the year-long ethnic violence. This was Rahul Gandhi's first visit to the Northeast after becoming the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha.

In Tamil Nadu Stalin the CM already there to console the affected people. Therefore Rahul Gandhi going there is not that important. Whereas the issue of Manipur is different wherein the CM is not addressing the issue. What is the reason why PM Modi doesn’t have visited inspite of the sufferings. Is it not a part of India? What these BJP spokes person Sanju Varma speaking? And what Rajit Sethib so called political analyst but the BJP spoke person speaking? Both do not make any sense.,Why nothing them are asking questions on Rahul Gandhi could not visit other places as though he is the PM of this country? Better Modi get down from the chair of PM & give to Rahul Gandhi , then ask questions to him, it makes better sense … In all Rajeev Sardesai kept his cool & making sense of what he was talking ….

HAVE ANY ONE OF THE ABOVE MEMBERS GOT THE COURAGE TO TELL THE NATION THAT HOW MANY CONFLICTS HAD HAPPENED IN MANIPUR BETWEEN 1990 AND 2014, HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE KILLED, WHICH CONGRESS PM HAD VISITED.

India needs an empathetic leader who at first accepts that there are serious issues in the country like manipur, poverty, unemployment, paper leak, inflation etc that need to be addressed immediately, not the leader who is not ready to accept these issues exist in the country.

This guy called Rajat Sethi was the advisor to the CM of Manipur... and the state sponsored violence happened soon after. It's a million dollar question what advice he had given to the CM to start the ethnic cleansing of the tribal Kukis.

Is that State my part of nation or not ?. If same happened in North India will they pay attention like this ? Is this Step Mother treatment ?. I am not from Manipur, but clearly it's hurting us deep inside when Manipur people lives in relief camps even after 1 year.

Why can't BJP do an open meeting with the people of Manipur? They can't. The Home Minister can meet the CM personally and leave but has he actually met the people in the relief camps?

I think the debate should be “why hasn’t Modi still visited Manipur?”. Somewhere along the line, the national media consistently and intentionally misreads and misleads the situation.
