When Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj visited Tanjore, which was ruled by his step uncle Vyankojiraje Bhosle. chefs know marhatta eat Dal-rice as well so they gave tangy flavour of Tamarind, sweet flavour of Jaggery, little spicy with red chillie powder, and some vegetables. Today most people knew about Sambhar, but not its history. 🙏🙏
