The Komodo is located on a different island that is 1,300 KM away from this volcano

Well Indonesia is 6000Km wide so it was far enough distance to not cause any affected victims.. But yeah, there are 189 active volcano in Indonesia including the submarine volcano one too so we need to be careful:]..
