I was at a store one day called athome and one of the workers there gave me some when she found out I love plants and grow them myself. They are sprouting now and learned that moonflowers are tender perennials and cousins with the annual flower morning glories.

Hi Riss!! Can we get an update on your Moonflowers and morning glories?? Did they bloom while they were growing inside? Also, how many seeds in each pot?

Milla R hello! Here is a little update, the moon flowers did bloom a few days before Christmas but the morning glories didn’t do so well. I got rid of them before they bloomed because they got fungus gnats (probably because of the poor draining soil and too big of pot) and I was scared they were going to spread to my other plants. There was about 12 seeds in each pot. I am currently growing both moon flowers and morning glories outside so I will post a video of their progress soon. It was either Kijiji or Craigslist, which are second hand sites! If you keep your eye out in local swap and sell groups you may be able to find a good planting pot or two 😁

Laurie Dargan I just left it and watered when needed. It bloomed on its own with very little help. Moon flowers and morning glories are easy and fast growers! 😊

I have been sober for just over 2 years 🙂 I am neurodiverse, which means the way I express myself and how I see and experience the world is unique. Life is so breathtakingly beautiful, I can’t help but to be high on it ❤️

Yes the moon flower did bloom a massive flower right around Christmas 😊

@@rissysroots omg I'm so jelly. I tried bringing mine in for the winter but it decided to vine everywhere and spread around spider mites AND mealybugs 😔

@@SeungCanFade oh no that is awful! That is exactly why I ended up getting rid of my morning glories before they even bloomed, the spider mites and fungus gnats were terrible. They grow so fast that I now just plant them outside every spring. I will do an update of growing them outside this summer :)
