Cool project, I’m doing mine all foam base then plaster to cover(ran out of plaster so waiting on that) then thinking about using a quick mix concrete to finish it off and have a rocky feel and look, but that textured spray paint might be good as well

Looks good but outta curiosity, why so flat? Looks like it would be to easy and get boring. Thought you were gonna leave some undulations and “rocks”.

Loving the progress here, It's really starting to come together. I've started thinking about a modular course myself; something that uses waste paper, tongue depressors and similar crafting materials, and which can be reconfigured. Have you put any thought into making ways to transfer from one course to another, so that you can string them together?

It's looking better and better every video! Looking forward to video 5. The dollar store has cheap disposable utility knives in 3 & 5 packs for a dollar that work really good on spray foam, cuts like butter. That's what me and my kids have used in the past for carving Rock shapes into foam courses. Not such a big deal when you accidentally get wet foam on the blade of a $0.20 utility knife, plus the wife won't be so mad😡lol.
