I'll believe "brutal" from INEOS if / when we see it. But those names really aren't brutal imo. Martial was leaving on a free regardless , Donny we will have to probably let leave on a free , Varane is actually quite inept to let him go and he's leaving on a free. Case basically injured for a lot of this season , putting in poor performances of late and we are taking probably a 50% loss or more on what we just paid for him not even 24 months ago. Sancho is obvious and another sizable loss on what we paid and far from a straight forward sale with those massive wages. To me thats not brutal , Rashy shouldn't be "if he's unhappy" , he should just be moved on , he's one of our biggest earners , to me he's become a toxic influence , putting in stinkers all season and any fee we get for him will only decline after this summer. Scott and Maguire should also be leaving. Yet not im not seeing many articles heavily linking that British trio with being sold. We have to see who actually leaves before saying INEOS are "brutal" ; most of the strongest names linked away are obvious and not generating that much money. Rashy especially but even Scott and Maguire can generate decent fees we can reinvest back into the squad ; but i have a feeling all 3 will still be here next season.

Gyokeres looks a brilliant player but just can't remotely see us getting him. He has something like a 100 million Euro release clause for one (which we can't afford) and on nearly a goal a game form with Sporting , so don't really see Sporting coming off that number / clause much , if at all. Plus he will have his pick of much more stable clubs. Just can't see Gyokeres to us at all unfortunately.

Which available top manager is BEST IN CLASS with regard young player development? ETH has a proven track record of this at Ajax and gradually at united. Are all the names being touted better at this? I can’t see anyone realistically available who is significantly better than ETH .
