Awesome story. What’s the origin of this folklore? Yoruba? I love mythology, just getting into African creation stories. If I was to choose a religion, animism would be it, it explains more than any other religion. Even though animism is the root of all religions. Loved it.

I want to say something as it has been important for me to interpret and/or comprehend these conscious ancestral webs- as in, who we suppose to contact in the future, who we knew we never were in sync with,blood heritage etc, how ancestors or spirits message us...etc, it has taken time to be that high, while I will say this early. African divination is dulling because? Let me ask it again. Africa is dulling in some of their skills and gifts because? Africa as always exploits its heritage to the point where- knowledges that suppose to be sacred and secret- are what people have been expressing on KZfaqS,TIKTOKS...ETC. that is not fair to Africa yet its not limited to just AFRICA. The spiritual systems there are fucked up because of the exploitation of oral tradtion via compensation or... what have you. Thats why some people need to stop giving so much "occult vision,knowledge,thought" when they are correct as this man, thats all I can say to you. we all have to know when to stop considering, WHAT SACRED CULTURE HAD ALWAYS BEEN R/APED OF ITS VALUE MORE THAN MELANIN?
