Peter and Michelle are next to face The Dragons along with their family. They're seeking a £100,000 investment for 10% of their fancy dress company, Fun Fancy Dress Ltd. The Dragons become infuriated over these inexperienced entrepreneurs trying to franchise and value their company at £1M.

The deal probably didn’t get done and Duncan saved himself money from the dissolvency. I think I saw a stat where 60 or 70 percent of the investments don’t get done for one reason or another.

Theo, if they are selling to you 15% marked off, marked up 8%, the benefit is still 8.2% (1-.85 * 1.08)

Clear daylight robbery. The strategy here was for the dragons to hammer the guy, make him feel small and foolish. 4 dragons declare themselves out and the one dragon that's left comes to his rescue with a offer that seems like he is saving him. When in actual fact he is ripping him off.
